Re: The I hate the Patriots thread!
The only reason that I really dislike the Patriots is because I have to hear my friend yap about them EVERY DAY. No one likes a pretty much unbeatable team unless it's their own. Honestly if the Redskins were like that there would be "The I hate the Redskins thread!" on 31 team forums.

Re: The I hate the Patriots thread!
i do'nt hate belichek or the patriots.anybody that tells bill parcells to shove the head coaching job with the jets like he did in 1999,is okay by me.and if they can win 5 sb rings, maybe that will shut all the GD 49er,steelers,and cowboy fans up around here with the respect to winning at least 5 rings.i'm sick of hearing that
joe montanna to jerry rice was the greatest thing since toilet paper too! |

I agree with you, Belichick is a dink. He comes across as a real arrogant sob and I personally wish the dude would ditch the nasty hoodie. Its gotten old man. As far as Brady, the man needs to learn to keep his dick in his pants and man up to his new baby. The shame. The constant praise and what I can only think of as a skipping record (for those of you who remember what a skipping record sounds like) regarding their astonishing record has sickened me and I too am on the hating band wagon. |

The Ravens and Mr. Arrogant Brian Billick???? What's up w/ that?? Talk about painful to watch. Their offense is so pathetic.

And why would he keep his dick in this pants? That has to be the dumbest comment I have ever heard on Warpath. |

Of course we can. We can hate the way they carry themselves and achieve that. I have tremendous respect for the Colts who just handle their business without the bullshit. They have consistently won and now have a SB ring. It's more of a feeling that we are shocking the Pats were cheating, but at the same time we also are not. Now if the Colts were caught cheating I would not believe it ever.

Re: The I hate the Patriots thread!
I live in New England and nobody is more sick of "Spygate" than me. Every sports radio station has a defense for bellicheck, which is BS. All of the bandwagon pats fans in this area did not follow this team before 01..It was strictly a red sox region. Nothing is worse than uneducated sports fans calling in with their takes. Everybody in this region thinks the pats are gods..they blew up at Merriman after his suspension and try to justify Harrisons. I would love nothing more than to shut this team up when we meet later in the season

Even though the Pats fans are unbearable, that's still a Red Sox town. Eventually the Pats will fall again, and they will all go back to Fenway.

Re: The I hate the Patriots thread!
first of all stealing signals or having dline man mic'ed will lead any defense to the area where the ball is going....thats is one reason why they lead the nfl in defensive scoring. norv turner is the reason they spanked san diego. and you quote above is blind....i am not claiming i know more than you donkey, i am saying you dont know shit about the extent of the cheating but it was significant enough for the nfl to step in. haha i mean seriously look at what you said dude. yes they cheated? 100%? BUT IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE OUTCOME???? i just dont get that, how doesnt it. when it gives you an advantage how does it not effect the outcome, if you cheat on a test it doesnt affect the outcome, if you get a head start in a race it doesnt affect the outcome, if you know the coverage or the audible of the offense how does it not affect the outcome. i am sorry but as a division 3 qb, if i knew the coverage i could focus my reads easily. in other words simplified and i knew where to attack it. please dont tell me that you still have to make the throw...please because 3rd string QBs can make the throws if they know where they are going with it. part of learning qb in the pros or any level is learning to read defenses no matter how they line up. knowing the coverage is what its all about as a qb, they read it then make the throw so tell me again how it doesnt affect the outcome...please!

Re: The I hate the Patriots thread!
What Im about to say is a bit silly but:
Have you ever been playing someone in Madden and they accidentally toggle their defense's coverage unto the field. Knowing that definitely is an advantage. You know which routes your wr should run, where to place the ball, and when you should release. Shit! I've had that happen and saw my man going deep was in single coverage, and I hit him for a 50 yd touchdown. Now, I don't know if this translates to REAL football, but I assume that this is the kind of thing they are trying to discourage by fining them and what not. On a side note, I do dislike the Pats, for no other reason then that they are a dominant team that is not the skins. If their cheating turns out to have been instrumental in their success, and it begins to show, I WOULD RELISH IT, and would claim that it discredits their success. But until then, I can only say it was cheap, and it gives me another reason to dislike them. |
