Re: Focus Your Negative Energy- Pats-Cowgirls Thread

Against the lions we seemed to play a lot better. The o-line was opening big holes and the running backs (esp. Sellers) were running really hard. Also, the receivers weren't dropping half the passes, which is what happened yesterday and in the second half of the giants game. Whether that was because we were playing well or because they sucked is beyond me. I know that in the second half we controlled the ball and really wore them out, so that played a huge role in the win.

You're right, the offense has not been playing that well but there could be a number of reasons for that. I guess the chief reason would be the overall health of the o-line. We've been missing our starting right guard and right tackle for almost the whole year, so our running game has suffered greatly. On top of that the receivers seem to be dropping more passes than normal but I'm not sure what's causing that.

The most frustrating thing about the Skins over the past few seasons, for me, has been the inconsistency. We'll have a great defense and almost no offense one year and then the next we'll have a top notch running game and a bottom feeding defense. I just hope that this year the D will keep it up and the offense will get healthy and start playing the way they appear to be capable of.

We'll find out in two weeks what our D can do against the Pats.

Dallas is lucky to have only 1 loss.

I hate Brady for the simple fact that if he was playing for any other team he wouldn't be this good. He is not as good as most think. You remeber Tim Rattay when he played for Miami (the U) and he looked great because of the system he was playing in. Where is he now? He was just like Brady never wanted to get hit. Yesterday, I saw more than a couple of passes that could have been completed if he would have steeped into the throw like a man, delivered the ball and took the hit. Instead he would throw it short or away. I LOVE football because it is a manly game, the game where you leave everything you got on the field. If I wanted to watch grown up men getting scared of getting hit, I can watch soccer all day long. Manning, Palmer, McNabb (even though I hate him), Warner...etc. will stand there and deliver. No Guts, no glory.

Yes, I am the guy who think the NFL is becoming too soft with Fair Catch, no touch afer 5 yards, and too many tackles being called as un-necessary roughness. Within 10 years, the NFL will make it mandatory for the players to get their nails polished.

Also do not use injuries as an excuse cause every team has them. NE is playing w/our Seymour and Maroney. Carolina went on the road and won with 76 year old Vinny T who was sitting on his couch just a few days ago.
That is why I said the bottom line is Dallas lost. No excuses.

The Brady hating at this point is really ridiculous.

The guy put up good numbers with average WRs for years, now he has a great WR corps. and he's putting up great numbers. He has the rings, the wins, and now he's putting up the insane numbers that only Manning was doing previously.

The reason why the skins offense played well against the lions and had a lot of mistakes against the packers was not being able to adjust to the weather.

And I'm not making any excuses for them or excusing their mistakes because of the weather. What I am saying is - they adjusted very poorly to the weather, to say the least. This is something they need to correct; to me, the most important thing they need to correct. If they adjust well to the weather conditions in that game, they would have cut down on the mistakes. If they cut down on the number of mistakes they made (especially late in the game), they win the game.

That's how you learn how to win games, correct your mistakes.

Dallas is missing Henry and Newman is not 100% yet, I am not making excuses but that is a fact. The whole season, Brady was sacked 3 times, yesterday, was sacked 3 times and lost a fumble returned for a TD. They rushed for 75 yards, part of had to do with their success on passing but when they ran, they got nothing.

Up untill the end of the 3rd quarter it was a very winable game. The thing that hurt Dallas the most are 1. Slow Start 2. Penalties.

the bottom line is, Dallas lost, but I enjoyed the game. Harrison, the har hitter, was smacked around by barber. Brady was sacked 3 times and was hit hard another. He is a pu$$y, can't take a hit. I am really looking forward to the Redskins game, maybe Taylor will knock him out once, but knowing the coward he is and how much the NFL loves him, he won't be hit often.
I think you're on to something about Tom Brady. Basically, if the Skins can laid some wood on him, he'll come down to earth some.

We'll see...

NO, there is no secret to why Brady hasn't missed a game all this time. He just doesn't like to get hit. Unless it is from his blind side, Brady will not stand in the pocket, deliver the ball and take a lick. It is crazy, but I am being sincere when I say this, I will be rooting for the Skins when they play the Pats. I hate cheaters and a pussy who is more concerned about being on People magazine.

The system my ass. How many guys in the NFL can sit in the pocket, throw it 50 times a game and just beat you with the passing game? Just flat out beat you with his arm and have no running game. Not very many if any. Only Peyton Manning and that's it. If you are football knowledgeable you could see that Brady has very very good mechanics, great pocket presence and has great field vision.

All I saw was Brady stepping into 5 TD's passes and almost 400 yards of passing. These are really silly comments by someone that's pissed cause your team got lit up. Hell I might say the same crap if he light's us up.

And what's with the no guts no glory comment? The guy has 3 rings.

I'm with Skinsfan69 on this (I find myself agreeing with him more and more...next comes the swarm of locusts I suppose ). Brady is a good, tough QB and the hate is kind of ridiculous.

Well according to Brady's teammates he does not like the spotlight at all. They say he is one of the hardest workers on the team. I don't think you become as good as Brady has if you are not working hard. Stop being a hater.

I'll tell you who likes the spotlight is Romo. But so what? Nothing wrong with it as long as you back it up on the field..

And he's not a Pu**y either....he's a franchise QB for the best franchise in the nfl....he felt a big hit coming weakside and ducked it in order to prevent injury and a fumble. So every time a QB slides he's a Pu**y....then I guess romo is a big Pu**y cause he can't recover from throwing one interception...instead he has to throw 4 more.

Brady embaressed the Cowboys defense...just like manning did...and just like any other good offense will. This was in response to the cowboys fan. nough said

What, throwing INTs is being a pussy. In that same game, Romo dove head first with no helmet on, most would call that being stupid but I call that football. I just don't think he would have won this many game and have as many rigns without Bellicheck.

I knew he was going to have a good game because the Cowboys secondary is not there yet. But remind of what Manning did to the Cowboys. As a I remember, he did not have a good game, they were undefeated coming into the game and Dallas beat them.
