That being said, I think ARE just slowed down when JC didn't expect him to. It wasn't JC's fault but more of ARE just giving up. So no "ill pass" IMO. |

Re: AWESOME Game!
Yea, good thread sandy.
Hopefully we will finish the job in DC and there will be something on the line for the December game in OUR house. If ST is back it will be a whole different ball game in the middle for B.O., he won't have 4 tds, he'll be very lucky to have four catchs. Anyway, great game.....damn shame we had to give another one away!

Thats cool, double down on TO on 12/30 all you want. He made not get his catches, but due to all the attention on Owens, Witten will burn you as easy. Even more, Terry Glenn will be back by then, and if TO or Witten dont get you, Glenn will. Like I said earlier, Pick your Poison. |

Re: AWESOME Game!
It was a great game. I thought the skins were going to take the lead and give the ball back to the cowboys with over a minute left in the game. But alas, I was wrong. Nice to see some posts from classy cowboys fans... I really think Sean Taylor would have made a huge difference in this game.

Gggrilliamsss isn't a miracle worker. His defense, which by all accounts needed only an injury-free offseason, an upgrade at MLB and another hard-hitting DB, is down, what, 3 starters? I don't blame them for giving up a TD or two on blown coverages. But everything we've been doing this season was about preventing big plays. Bend don't break. Etc. Then we go and do something like allow a huge 3rd down conversion when Romo gets a high snap over his head that bounces right back into his hands. We should have pounced on that and capitalized the same way we did the first time it happened, but we allowed a big play. Story of the afternoon. Blaming the guy with 17 career starts at QB for throwing a pick inside the redzone (and bear in mind, Campbell's red zone passer rating is one of the best in the league this year), especially after he just marched the team down the field in 3 minutes and scored, is just wrong. Yes, he had the chance to win it, and couldn't, I obviously understand that. What I meant by the team owed him a win is that he put the team on his back yesterday and deserved a win. He didn't get it, and that's regrettable.
