Well I personally love this about the guy. I am one who can become very emotional and passionate about the things I am involved in. This past April I competed in my first road race after 2 years of battle with a used race car, a 1998 acura integra type R, I had purchased to go road racing with NASA in the Honda Challenge series with the dream of one day becoming a national and regional champion in the class. This past year I won my regional chapionship and got knocked around a bit at Nationals (so that will be next year, God Willing).

` I own and operate a race team in SC. We have 2 cars and my partner has been racing for 5 years. When my time finally came to get in the car and run I broke down and cried after the race. I had finished 1st in class and 15th overall in a group of 55 cars. Those tears were more of relief and joy though. So I understand and admire his passion for the game and also can grasp his feelings towards competition. I have also shed my share of tears in defeat and wouldn't trade my feelings and passion for anything.

So Jason weres his heart on his sleeve. Doesn't care who sees him. Now I have one more thing I really respect about him.

JC has a ton of heart, I wonder if his hand injury is from punching a wall in the locker room from being so upset?

You have to feel for the kid... I know he'll be taking flack for crying in the locker room, but I'm soo glad to see someone in there who actually cares. He's one of the only couple of redskins who know the words to "Hail to the Redskins" that may not mean anything to some of us but it impressed me alot, and after the past 2 weeks, the kid has sold me completely.... I just hope the team rallies around him and elevates their play to match that emotion...

football is an emotional game... even when Im playing madden I'll get so elated after a good win (not total domination, but a game that you couldve lost if you hadn't made that one move, or called that one play and its the only reason you won...) and I'll get infuriated after I lose...

I didn't feel that way as much when I was playing football, because I was on the D line... I wanted to win, but didn't feel like if we didn't it was because I whiffed that one tackle or didn't take out the fullback running around the corner. I couldn't imagine shouldering that much responsibility and coming up short.

I'm glad also that he's taking being a redskin seriously... putting so much into a rivalry... It really seems like he loves being a redskin, which is something you don't get in most players.

I like a guy that's not afraid to cry from time to time. It shows how even more secure in his masculinity he is. He can cry and be a tough guy at the same time. So. No bashing on JC. I bet he's gonna go out there next week and pound some TB ass though, that's for sure.

I echo the sentiments of others who have said that they would rather see a few tears then a bunch of laughter after a tough loss.

I seem to recall a lot of crying in basketball after tough losses but not football. I remember Larry Bird crying at the end of the NCAA championship game against Magic. I think Kobe cried after a playoff exit early in his career. Adam Morrison last year when Gonzaga was eliminated. If JC turns out to be anything like Bird or Kobe...I'll be thrilled.

It takes a real man to show emotion. Those who don't are cowards in my book. Campbell has shown heart, soul, and love for the game. He's a true team player, and he wants to succeed. I'm sure the money is good, but I'm thinking it isn't about the money for Jason. This is the type of guy we need as our QB.

By the way, in my years of watching football, I have seen plenty of football players cry after a tough loss. I've seen them cry tears of joy when they are victorious. There isn't anything gay about that.

Crying is showing strong emotion. I agree that if it was slobbery, snotty, in the fetal position balling, then it's not cool. Otherwise, I want to see passion. Tell me that Favre, McNair, Warner or Brady has never been emotional after a close tough loss. Hell, Favre was blowing snot bubbles last year talking after the last game of the year in an interview and nobody questions his passion or leadership.

My brother told me earlier in the season that he wasn't sure if Campbell is passionate enough to ever become an elite QB. This really shows just how much he cares about winning. That passion, his character, and his work ethic bode well for the Skins' future.
