You know what? And I shouldn't say this, but he absolutely deserved any abuse that came his way. He came on this thread only to bash what should have been a good thread by CTT, he espoused his opinions with a complete disregard of the facts, he basically blamed Taylor for his own death and if not Taylor then the Redskins.

I hope he comes back and gets ridiculed some more quite frankly....and then I'll ban him

No but seriously...come back and get your spanking.

A very small minority of people who visit this site invite personal attacks. Telling people that they are dumb and then apologizing to them is stupid. Saying that Sean Taylor is dead because of his decisions and actions the day before his funeral is simply very, very, very, very stupid. Admitting that he knew he would get people upset but decided to share his thoughts about Sean Taylor is very, very, very, very stupid.

Personal attacks are almost always forbidden. But when someone makes numerous very, very, very, very stupid statements, they deserve whatever comes their way.

Agreed, I just enjoy beating down clowns like that with logic and not stooping to their level. Admittedly, though, sometimes it just feels good to pop a hater in his jaw.

Re: Thanks Skins

There are several differences between this game and the Giants (which I still say they folded during).
I will say that they were underprepared in both games. However, I doubt anyone was fully focused this week on football. Despite the will of the players this week to go all out, does anyone really think they were completely rested and ready to play? And Thursday will be worse. Think anyone on that team is snug in bed yet? And they are going to be in Miami for a 11am funeral Monday? And I'm sure they will all be focused on a gameplan Tuesday after getting treatments and rest from this game.
I am pissed about the performance against the Bucs (6 TO's?), the Giants (2nd half fold), the Packers (miserable drops and TO's) and the Eagles (folded with game on the line). But please don't lump this game into those. There is only so long you can will your body before the mental and physical strain becomes too much.
As for blow it up and start over; please think. When 6 of 7 losses are by one score you don't drop everyone and start again. If so, expect a 1-15 next year and maybe in 3 years we'll be at the point we are at now.

Re: Thanks Skins

Thanks to all the Redskins.
Also people in the organization and fans.
It was an emotional game and a tremendously difficult situation to live through.
Keep fighting Redskins!

They did play their heart out there today. Couldn't have asked for much more.
