Re: Pro Bowl 2008
True. But look at how many points the Cowboys have scored compared to the Redskins.

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
I cried with tears of joy just now when I heard that Taylor had made the Pro Bowl. Just when you think that mankind has compleetly gone to shit, they do something honorable like this to redeem themselves.

So wait...Doesn't taylor's death qualify as an injury or event beyond control...
Who do the redskins send? I hope its landry. Edit: be it portis or Landry...one of them should wear the number 21. |

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
i have to agree with you giantone, Antonio Pierce is a fine middle linebacker. haven't seen enough of his play this year to know if he is more deserving then Fletcher. anyone feel like comparing the 2's stats?

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
not that it matters, but I think mr. portis will have a bit of a chip on his shoulder for that last game v. dallas.

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
Quote:
Every year when the Pro Bowl is announced people ask why they don't push the voting back to the end of the season. I assume it is mostly about marketing and probably won't change, but the NFL really should push the voting back. If you are going to continue letting fans vote then push fan voting back to weeks 14-17 (rather than starting in October) and let the players vote the last week of the season. Won't happen so whatever. The real problem is that then you get to HOF balloting and Pro Bowls are used as part of the justification for enshrinement.

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
I'm shocked that Fred Taylor has never been named to the Pro Bowl. He's certainly had some worthy seasons.

Re: Pro Bowl 2008
I'm just glad Cooley is finally getting his due recognition. I was concerned that Shockey might win out on name alone.
