Re: Terry Glenn "I think they were trying to hurt me,"

Thanks for the video.

Anyone watching that and saying Landry was going for his legs needs to have their driver's license revoked because they clearly have major vision problems.

If anything, it looked like Landry ducked his head at the last minute to keep from nailing Glenn's knee with it.

Re: Terry Glenn "I think they were trying to hurt me,"

That's the biggest bunch of crap. If Laron Landry were trying to play dirty and hurt Terry Glenn, Terry Glenn would be on crutches after that game. Don't give me this, "he was trying to play a little dirty" bs, he could have really hurt if he wanted to at any point, especially on that play, if he pops his shoulders up at all, then it would have hit him in the knee, or he could have just not dove for the ball and body rocked him, he did neither, it was an innocent mistake.

Give me a break, jdlea is right. If Landry was trying to hurt Terry Glenn he would still be in the hospital.

I agree. The refs don't seem to hesitate on calling unnecessary roughness calls especially on Landry. I think if Landry was intentionally trying to hurt Glenn the refs would've thrown the flag. I mean if you intentionally go for the knees, don't you get a chop block or a clipping call? The refs thought it wasn't intentional, and it obviously wasn't.

This is pointless. The Cowboys are trying to manufacture something to put on the blackboard if the Redskins make it through Seattle. "They Cheated" is better than "It shows you what happens when one team is fired up and the other isn't."

Re: Terry Glenn "I think they were trying to hurt me,"

What a little fucking bitch. I am actually mad that he is such a little baby.
ON this play he wanted a flag:
YouTube - Romo pass to Glenn gets intercepted

It is just part of him. He complains and he is scared. It has given me good laughs in the past. THe sean taylor play where he puts up his hands is classic. Fuck terry glenn and fuck the cowboys. I don't know why I sometimes start to ease up to the cowboys. I hate them. I hate Romo complaining. I hate that they actually are making a deal of this when they have one of the top 3 dirtiest players on defense. Roy Williams can ride players like horses but landry can't slide.

Honestly, at the point of contact you can see that landry just protects himself. I think he could have hit his knee with his helmet if he was trying to hurt him. Now i want landry to destroy glenn in the playoffs. I mean destroy. I don't care if he breaks his rib so long that the hit is "clean" by their standards.

Re: Terry Glenn "I think they were trying to hurt me,"

As Landry said himself on redskins lunch he was trying to make a play on the ball. To all the boys fans out there...actually watch the play. Landry was actually trying to make a play on the ball, as a safety, i believe thats what he's supposed to do. He also was coming in pretty damn fast and the last time i checked when you're running pretty fast on a wet field you can't stop very quickly.

Also, we could bring up Roy Williams and his "questionable" tactics. So boys fans, come on, watch the replay. I can't believe this is even a topic of discussion.

Why haven't any of our token Cowboy fans here posted on this thread? I'd really like to know what they think about all this whining

Re: Terry Glenn "I think they were trying to hurt me,"

I rewatched the game and I clearly saw a dallas runningback chop-block Landry's kness when he was coming in on a blitz off of the edge. And yes you guessed it, no flag. That is bullshit. terry glenn can eat a dick. Sorry about that, but I had to say it.

A reach! Puss is right!

Get over it. You entered someone's house uninvited and the owners bitch slapped you, took all your pride, and made it clear that next time we're coming to your house and you can expect more of the same. See you in two weeks.

Re: Terry Glenn "I think they were trying to hurt me,"

I find it amusing and ironic that so many complaints of "dirty football" come from the very team that has a player who literally instituted one of the newest defensive penalties! If Laron Landry has learned any dirty ball from anyone, it's only because he's been watching game films of Roy Williams, the horse collar king.
