Re: Collin's Good Backup nothing more
I wanted Brunell to play Sunday...I though he would have been better.... considering his off season surgery...But it was basically the same situation...

Re: Collin's Good Backup nothing more
But it was differnt... Todd should have been the starter (considering the injury)....Not the same argument.... I am arguing he is a backup...not the starter... people dont agree...oh well...

There's nothing brave about making assumptions about the opinions of others You could have just said "I think we saw the real Todd Collins yesterday and I believe that he is best suited as a back-up at best for this team" Instead, you threw stuff in like "He waited until the last game to throw interceptions" and "Everyone is vilifying Campbell."

I'll defend anyone who I feel hasn't done anything wrong. It's not called kissing ass. It's called being fair.

Re: Collin's Good Backup nothing more
Todd Collins is a backup QB who played very well to get the Redskins to the playoffs but I honestly can't believe what I'm reading here. Nobody has mentioned the steller play by the defense in the last month. Clinton who? My God I actually remember reading that somebody think you have no fullback. Does somebody here not want Sellers? I'll take Sellers. Todd Collins did not lose that playoff game. He was blitzed like crazy and the o-line couldn't handle it. Can anyone say dropped balls? Oh boy I'm gonna get flamed here but how do you defend the blitz? Try screens and draw plays. I saw that on one drive. Hmmm can you say 85 yards and a touchdown? Don't want to do that again! God help teams once Jason Campbell fully learns that offense. He is the Skins starter. This thread is dumb.

Re: Collin's Good Backup nothing more
I don't think he's being attacked. Smooty pointed out he had bad grammar. I don't think he doesn't have a reason to feel the way he does because he's pointing out what he feels is the reason people are "vilifying" JC, I just don't agree with it. But if someone outright called him an asshole, I definitely would defend him.
