I have no problem congratulating them. While I CANNOT stand Shockey and Eli, the Giants are the only team in the NFCE that I don't totally hate.

Now I know the New England Patriots totally dismantled us this past season, and I hate them for that, however, what a sucky Superbowl this will be with these two teams.

agreed. If it were the Skins who won last night, I wouldn't be able to come here. I'd get sick reading everything.

Rod, you might want to go on vacation for the next two weeks. A skins fan in Brooklyn right now? Can't be pleasant.

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants

Congratulations to the Giants, holding down the NFC East in the Super Bowl. Look, of course we don’t like our division’s teams while playing in the regular season, but in my book I can look past it once we are out of it. These guys represent the strength of our division and give us notoriety even if we aren’t there. It proves that this year.....the NFC East is the best division in the NFC, and we can be a proud part of that.

I hope the Giants come in with a similar game plan against the Pat’s in the super bowl as they did yesterday.....ball control, healthy mix of run and pass, no turnovers and pressure D. I think this game will be much closer then most expect and I will take the Giants with the points (13) as the Pat’s haven’t covered for 7 weeks in a row now. Keep it close Giants and make the “All Mighty, Poster Boy QB – Brady”, turn it over a few times like he did yesterday. Go Giants!

PS - My prediction was Giants vs. Pat’s, in the Super Bowl Prediction Post.....can someone bring that post back up towards the top of the list, as I cant seem to locate it?

Thanks

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants

i mean if the damn patriots had had JUST ONE SINGLE loss it would be easier to cheer for them. I want to see a team go undefeated in my life but I don't want it to be a classless team like them.

I hate the giants. I hate Eli. I hate Pierce. I hate SHockey. I didn't even like tiki all that much when he was there. I hated that lavar went to play for them. I hate coughlin. I can't stand them winning but it may be the lesser of the two evils. i guess we got 2 weeks to decide who to cheer for (or cheer against, that makes more sesnse). Its not easy.

Hate is a strong word. I'll exchange them with strongly dislike in the giants case. Hate is reserved for the cowboys. That is one HUGE plus. If it were the cowboys and the pats i would be cringing right now. I would definitely root for the pats in that case.

Don't get me wrong though. As much as i dislike the giants I have to give them credit and respect here. Ahhhh, all those stupid new jersey and new york mother f...ers at UMD are going to be cheering for the giants. There are a lot of them there. And all the stupid band wagon fans are going to continue cheering for the pats. I'm going to go home so i dont' have to watch the super bowl with them. One day the skins will have their time in the sun.

Definitely have to give credit to Coughlin( where is tikis bitch ass now?) and Manning.
There's no way I'm pulling for an NFC east team!

Even though I hate the chargers almost as much as I hate the Cowboys, I am a San Diegan and have a tremendous amount of respect for Junior Seau. I'd be happy to see him finally get a SB Ring.

Re: Congrats to our fellow NFC East team- The Giants

Sorry, my hatred for the Giants can't bring me to be happy, or even reasonably pleased for their success. They are the only team I hate more than the Cowboys. I hope the Pats hang 50 on them in the Super Bowl..

Giant Fans can not believe it themselves....Most of them are so shocked they can't talk without swearing out loud. The Giants and their fans should be proud...the deck was really stacked against them getting this far. I'm very impressed.

Did anyone else take the Giants and Pats?

You know....I kinda wondered if in the past the Giants team relied on Tiki and Shockey a little too often....It seems to me that they are a more complete offense without them, to some degree...Are they better with Shockey??? Absolutley! Maybe now they see that they can spread it around alot more...When Shockey returns...the G-Men may be dangerous. But hell, there in the Super Bowl now, what can you say. Give em some props. As much as it hurts to say it....Im proud of them. Big props to Eli and Plax they have taken alot alot of flak from the fooball world and have found a way to stay professional and at task...Good job

I agree, I feel the same way....I too can't stand Mr. cockyass Shockey...but I'm cool with the team that is playing now...their rookie players like Bradshaw have really stepped up big time.
