Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
Looks like Chicago is always picking up our dead weight (Adam Archuletta, Brandon Lloyd, ...). Their next free agent acquisition will be Derrick Frost, aka Mr Shank.

Now that's the type of video that should be banned from this site, not Redskins highlights.

Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
I know this isnt Madden, but does anyone think Adam Archuleta can play outside LB? I think at this point in his career his value as a SS is dwindling, but if he can add a few pounds and learn his position I think he MAY be able to play outside LB(weakside). He is already 223lbs, and if he added another 10-15 it could work.
Thoughts?

Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
what really happened to this guy? At one point he was being named the next John Lynch now he's a burn out...where did his career go wrong?

Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
The problem with this guy is that NFL teams no longer value "play the line" strong safeties.
Especially with all the Cover-2 being played these days, both safeties have to be able to excel in pass support... and that's not his game. He's too small for the LB position right now... but he could bulk up and get a look from a team like Indy who tends to like smaller, quicker guys at LB. |
