We did develop our own talent... his name was Champ Bailey and we used his ass to get us one of the best backs in the game.

You f-ing hypocrite... are you developing your own talent with a retread like Vinny Testaverde?

LOL!!!...you can thank Mike Ditka and his hard on for Ricky Williams for that one.--and you still sent a gift 2nd rounder for Portis

The RB position has been one of the easiest to fill in the draft..from early to mid and even late rounders

Testaverde didnt cost us a 3rd, 6 years/43 mil with 10 mil to sign

We traded for the future (henson) not aging quick fix (Brunnel)

Again, just a difference in Philosophy...cap sanity vs cap insanity and valuing draft selections and parting with them

MUCH rather have proven players at key positions like Coles, Thomas and Portis than gamble on draft selections. Vinny isn't an aging quick fix?

but your argument sounds like you (and Parcells) are conceding this season for the future. is that right? thats certainly one philosophy..hope you and the othe CB fans enjoy your season..

Vinny is a quick fix..thats for sure..but the point I keep trying to make is

1) we didnt overpay
2) he didnt cost us a future 3rd rounder
3) we are not concerding this season AT ALL...we will be a better team with the same if not better record

guys, guys. look at this fool. hes here praising steven jackson saying how we would be better off with him than portis, when his team passed on him so they could get julius jones, a 2nd round pick to be the feature back behind a shitty o-line? wow. talk about getting your stories mixed up.

I know that I'd like you to leave... you're definitely not making this a better place.

what about them? 6 games is enough to soil your ranking pretty thoroughly...

like troy hambrick right? portis is proven... many more of the backs drafted this year will end up NOT starting then making a difference...

Testaverde didnt cost us a 3rd, 6 years/43 mil with 10 mil to sign
and you know why? cause he's awful...

and that's why we have ramsey... you do know we have more than one QB right? and don't bother feeding me crap about how bad ramsey is, look at his stats from last year, they're much better than other starting QBs per game... henson hasn't had a snap or a game planned against him yet; preseason play means nothing.

can't defend your position so you're start throwing insults how high-minded... the FO here liked proven players, dallas has spent a lot of draft picks on crap players... its just the value they place on picks/performance... just cause you think picks are better doesn't make your position better OR more righteous, "so there ain't no reason to be like that"

SO... you didn't overpay and got crap players in return and you don't mind losing
