No, I never made an argument about any status quo. I'm afraid it really is your bad. I guess if I just basically said, people need to chill out and stop being whiny bitches, that probably would've been easier to understand. You think? 15 more games left in this season.

So, with JC out from behind center, this team is a Super Bowl contender?

Which guy was wide open 6 yards down field? I just remember Campbell getting engulfed in a sea of blue.

exactly, you hit the nail on the head,I've been cutting jc slack when hes been under a lot of pressure for not completing his passes, but how many times tonite did Eli make great throws when pressured? granted he did throw 1 int from the pressure, but he made plays.JC has got to be able to make plays when he's under pressure,{McNabbs done it his whole career}this is the nfl and rarely do you have the luxury of Tom Bradys protection

Re: JC is not what I thought.

So then basically the general consensus is that Jason Campbell is not cut out to be a first string quarterback, correct?

15 more games sounds like 4 more years.

Eli made some good throws, no doubt about it. Eli also threw a lot of passes that should've been intercepted. In fact, our secondary dropped a few INTs. He also has the luxury of the same offensive line that protected for him last year in every single game. He also has the luxury of playing in the same offense as he did last year as well. Not taking anything away from Manning though, he made the plays when he was supposed to, and Campbell looked lost. I certainly expect Campbell improve and have this system down pat by the end of the year. If not, give someone else a shot.

Re: JC is not what I thought.

I think JC is a fine QB, it's just that we Redskin fans have ridiculously irrational expectations for what our passing offense should look like in week one of year one of a totally new system.

Look how long it took Hasselbeck to get up to speed in Seattle.

I've been saying around here for weeks but nobody wants to listen to the harsh truth:

1) Those preseason performances were not a mirage and
2) Our passing offense will struggle this year as JC tries to learn it

There's a very slim chance we'll be any better than mediocre until the second half of the season.

Eli has Plax as a receiver, and there were some throws that Plax saved Eli by making a catch or just using his size advantage.

Well if you're really dreading this season that much, I'm sure you can catch some figure skating on some other channel opposite of football!

I second that. Everyone either hates JC or thinks he's still in an evolving process.

Personally, I'm down for Brennan. I mean if he was starting, we obviously would have killed the Giants.. Pats style.
