I don't know. Leftwich is only a couple years removed from looking pretty good. If there is room on a roster somewhere for Jordan Palmer you have to think Leftwich should be playing too. I guess the problem with both Daunte and Byron is that they would come in with aspirations of starting again. Compare that with a beta-qb who is more than happy to hold the clipboard, as opposed to a first round guy lobbying behind the scenes to take over, and you can see which is better for all-important team chemistry.

I don't wish an injury on anybody but don't ask me to feel sorry for him. They didn't mind running the score up on us while Jansen and Thomas were out with injuries. I believe that's the game Carlos got hurt in wasn't it? Moss is already calling it a dirty play. Our quarterback got hurt last year. No one is immune from injuries. Smug bastards. While I don't wish an injury on anyone, I'm not feeling sorry for Brady or the Patriots. They ran up the score on us last year, and I remember pretty-boy being pissed off at his lineman for a false start penalty when they were up by several TDs, clearly he wanted to score more. Then Bill Belicheat kept him in during meaningless games while he pursued his undefeated season. I haven't seen any team get away with all this crap and not get struck by karma. Well I think it finally happened.

Maybe Moss will go down next week.

Randy Moss is going to regress to his old ways once the Patriots start to lose games. I can't wait to see him walk off a Pats loss before the game ends. LOL.

He'll demand a trade and quit on his routes.

Wow. It's amazing how in one snap a franchise' fortunes can change for an entire season. Now I'm not exactly sympathetic to his plight, because I hate the Patriots almost as much as a rival, but I wouldn't wish this on him. He's got a long road to recovery ahead of him, but since this happened so early he'll have a better chance to be 100% when training camp starts next year.

Pats won't suffer that much. Caswell did a decent job in filling in and hit Moss for a 51 yard bomb and played turnover free. Only thing is that I can see that will hurt the Pats is that Mulroney is going to have to step up and I am not sure he can do it.

I still can't believe some of you people on this board, including saden. I thought much more highly of you all, but why would you wish injury?

Yeah Brady is a dick, an arrogant prick, needs to get off his high horse, etc. I hate him almost as much as Romo, but seriously celebrating and praising a painful injury on people is just fucked up. It's bad karma and just being a bad person. Come on guys you all are better than that, no need to stoop down to that level.

I just don't know how you can claim to be a football fan and then rejoice when the best player in the game goes down for the year. When the Colts play the Pats later in the season and no one cares I think it will hit you how much you miss have Brady as a supervillain.

There were several teams that asked him to compete for a backup job. He always said no, at most he would compete for the starting job. So that was that.

As for the Pats, huge news. Will this reveal Belichick as a true genius, or Brady as a truly great QB? Should be interesting to see.

Don't forget that he has the most obnoxious agent ever. There are a lot of teams that don't want to deal with him. I think if he swallowed some of his pride and took a backup job making backup salary he'd be on a roster by Friday.
