Re: Mattyk72 presents: The Warpath Zornometer Poll™ (regular season edition)
I was one of the 2 people that gave Zorn a 3. That's not to be negative at all -- thats more of a "emerging rating" as they would say at my work. I think he is doing a good job, but still is trying to shoehorn Campbell into his system in some ways. I look forward to seeing how the offense clicks later on in the season, but they get better and better with each game. Defensively, he's done a very good job of letting Blache do his thing.

He got a 5 out of me. He's exactly what I wanted, an aggressive coach who knows how to let his players make plays and puts them in position to do so.

Re: Mattyk72 presents: The Warpath Zornometer Poll™ (regular season edition)
I'm just happy that this part of the schedule is about over. I thought the first 5 games of our schedule were extremely tough. I thought it would make or break our season. We are looking great for a team learning a new offense, with 10 rookies. I have no clue how far we can go with a healthy JT and with the rest of our WR corps. I love Zorn's playcalling, even in the Giants game (I understood what he was trying to do). He definitely gets a high score from me.

I gave him a 5. That's how I feel. Yeah I know we have not really won anything yet, but he has gotten this thing going in the right direction that is for sure. Great to see this offense really get going. I can't wait until we really unload on someone. Hopefully we will really peak in Nov, Dec, and hopefully beyond. Keep it up Zorn. You are getting alot of guys who we all had a feeling could get this thing going.

Re: Mattyk72 presents: The Warpath Zornometer Poll™ (regular season edition)
I gave him a 4. It's still early and theres still a chance of everything imploding all around us. If we can keep this up to the halfway mark in the season, by then I won't be able to help but give him a 5.
I likes what I sees, but show me some more to make me Zorn fanatic.

Re: Mattyk72 presents: The Warpath Zornometer Poll™ (regular season edition)
I gave him a 3.
I started him at a 2 because he was a rookie head coach. I still say a 4 is a coach who can get you to the playoffs. Yes, the skins beat the cowboys, but they got crushed by the Giants sticking with their running game. The skins beat 2 teams they should have won....I can see giving him a 4 because of beating Dallas, but, it is still possible they get spanked by another quality team. It just hasn't been long enough to earn a 4. I see a 3 as an average NFL coach, a 4 as a Playoff coach and a 5 as a Hall of famer.

He is a 4....he should be able to get us to the playoffs....ideally, I'd like to wait until after we play and beat some pansies, but, based off of how consistent he has been, I don't expect problems. It is really hard to have this level of confidence in a coach when he has not gone through the full gambit of situations, including must win games at the end of the year, playoff games, easy to win games, comebacks, division rivalries away, rivalries at home, major injuries, massive turnovers, etc... So, am I a skeptic, yes....Am I impressed, very. But there is NO WAY I will give Zorn a 5 until he has the team win a playoff game. The way I see it is a 4 is as high as he can go until that happens. He has proven he can take the team to the highest level within the framework of the regular season. (except late season must win games to make the playoffs) I was honestly not expecting the Skins to make the playoffs this year, I kinda expected them to be 2-3 at this point....I'm sure many of you are suprised too.

I gave him a 5 because under the current circumstances I have complete confidence in the man. The real question is who gave him a 1?

I give him a 4 his play calling as improved every game he'll get a 4.5 when he can incorporate DT, MK and FD into the offense

I thought this was a good read on Zorn's playcalling. Gotta love how flexible and unpredictable he is.
