Hard not to win games if you have a great offense and get the ball a few extra times a game. Our offense is anemic as of late, even if we do gain a lot of ypg, since it is points we are after. I say sign him for the rest of the season. He should be a good boy as he should know his career is on the line, and if we don't get any positive results or he is an ass, drop him.
Your uncle is Earl Bruce and you live in Michigan? What was that like on game day for you when Ohio State played Michigan?

I think this is overblown. Our locker room is among the best, if not THE best in football. One man isn't gonna wreck it. Imagine what London Fletcher would do to him if he tried acting a fool? Or Blache for that matter? Hall is in a touchy spot as far as his career is concerned. If he doesn't want to fade into oblivion he'll straighten up. He's only 24 too. If he shuts his mouth and plays ball we could have a sick corner tandem for years.

Very good pts GM. I still don't think he'll choose the Skins though. If the reports are accurate at least half the NFL is taking a look at him.

He's from Chesapeake, VA, so he's relatively local, plus according to his agent he want to play for a winner. Hall also came out and said he likes our defensive scheme. We have a way of making sure we get a guy when we want him.

I hope it doesn't involve giving him very much money.

I can live with picking him up on a cheap one year deal. Let him come in and prove himself on the field and in the locker room. I have serious doubts as to whether he pull it off, but if he proves me wrong I'll gladly eat that crow.

To that point do we know how much we can actually spend i.e. salary cap?

Can someone say Punt Returner? I mean on Madden it would be awesome.

So we are for sure getting him? Cause I heard other teams were still contacting him.

At this point Hall is only a slight upgrade over Torrence. If Hall is signed he will be our #4 CB, Torrence will be #5 and Tryon will likely be cut.

Huh? Hall will move ahead of Torrence by his second week on the team. Agree on Tryon though.

Agree with both. Tryon shouldn't have made it out of camp. Before signing anything, I hope that Blache has a heart to heart with Hall and his agent making it clear that Hall's antics and me first attitude will not be tolerated in this locker room.

I don't like this move. Hall may be an upgrade over Torrence and Tryon but I don't like his character at all. Not to mention he is a horrible cover corner too, the only aspect of his game that I do like is that he gets turnovers, and that's not exactly a compliment because he still doesn't get as many turnovers as some of the better corners in the league.

According to Redskins Insider, Hall is willing to accept a short term deal. I say a prorated 2 year (7 games this season and next season), with limited guaranteed money, but nice escalator clauses if he stays in line and plays well.

I'm not sure what other teams are offering, but I doubt we'd get him if we only offered him a contract for the last 7 games.

I agree with you, Matty. The cost has to be reasonably cheap. I'll say it again, he's shown what he's capable of when his head is right, and he's only 24.
