Re: Jason Taylor says he's not worth $8 million
Suppose he was willin to take a pay cut. What options are avialable with no cap in 2010 and in career almost over. Could he just say "I'll play for four mil," and we make the other four disappear

I'm not either! I'd settle for .8 mil and contribute just as much even at near twice his age!

Split it with me and I'll go with you backrow. Maybe between the 2 of us we can get a couple of sacks.

Re: Jason Taylor says he's not worth $8 million
I like his honesty. Good for him.
Now I'd like Vinny Cerrato to man-up and say he made a mistake. Three draft receivers have been BUST so far. Vinny bet on a 35 year old DE - Philip Daniels [injured one the first game of Pre-season]; then in desperation they bet on another old DE. Vinny needs to start drafting for the trenches and stop going for the flash (receivers). Until we start drafting for the OL and DL we will be an average team or worse. |

Makes you wonder if he doesn't want us to bring him back the way he puts it

Re: Jason Taylor says he's not worth $8 million
I think people forget that Taylor was a damn good player on a team that went 1-15 last season. Once again, unless you were a f'ing psychic, no one could have predicted JT's injury. Honestly, the only people that were against this deal are the people that always roll their eyes at any Redskins free agent acquisition. Yes, the team's track record is not that great on free agent acquisition, but once again, no one could have predicted his injury. I hope he sticks around for one more year (restructured contract) to prove himself. I don't think JT would like to bow out with a performance like the one he's had this year.

Make that a sack and a sack/force fumble. We should give this guy another year.

glad he was there to make a play today, otherwise, we'd have lost 6-3
