Yeah and they got beat in the 1st round of the playoffs. They are at home. Norv is preparing for next week.
Norv also did it without their two best players LT and #56 LB.

Not Spurruer, not Gibbs, not Schottenhiemer...Norv Turner did it.
Someone is forgetting the 2005 season.

Norv was pretty much a joke when he was here, at least for the three years I was around him. Maybe he's grown some cojones since joining the Chargers

I would like to see how many different players are there under Norv than when Marty Built that team. But none the less, having Philip, LT, Antonio Gates, and i'm sure several others, that's pretty easy to go into and have at least some success.

I did forget about 2005. They beat Seahawks 20-10 in 1st round.

The Redskins under Norv were not as much of a joke as they were under Spurrier.

How much is he making?
I would not mind Snyder opening the check book for him.

No kidding. I don't watch that many Ravens games, but every time I do he returns a turnover for a TD. Unbelievable. Makes me even more irate that our DBs can't catch. Reed shows that TOs = POINTS!

Yeah but they were real beat up with injuries. I'm not saying Norv is a great or even a good HC. But let's give the guy some credit. He knows how to run an NFL offense and has helped Rivers become on of the best QB's in the NFL. Hell he even got Alex Smith to play decent.

Re: 2008 Wildcard Weekend Gameday thread

The AFC side looks tough. Titans, Steelers, Ravens and Chargers.
It looks deeper than the NFC.
Well at least the AFC teams have the attributes that win in the playoffs:
Good running game, good offensive lines, and most important Great Defense.

He gets his RBs involved as well, especially in the passing game, and he doesn't need great WRs to put up a ton of points.
