Re: Has Zorn already hand picked the QB for his offense?
I believe that Zorn is buying time with Campbell to groom Brennan as the new franchise QB for the Redskins. Let's face it, JC failed to lead the team down the last stretch of the season. This may be attributed to the new system, but it didn't phase him early on. He did well under the new system but once things heated up, he showed he faulters under pressure. I say give Colt a chance. He can't do much worse. He may even surprise everyone since the leagues other teams don't know his method of play. Brennan is also more competitive than Campbell it seems in his play.

Last, let's hope the Front Office decides to stock our O-line up through the draft so we can give whomever is under Center a decent chance to get us to the playoffs and beyond.

Yeah, you know those crazy college rules teach those QBs some bad habits, like the play stops when you are getting crushed on the ground by some 320 lb DT.

Colt doesnt do pushups. He pushes the world down.
(please reference all chuck norris' jokes when referring to Colt's strength or omnipotence) |

Re: Has Zorn already hand picked the QB for his offense?
It always amazes me that all of the Colt Cult won't acknowledge that he didn't even beat out a 38 year old for the 2nd spot last year, yet they scream he's the next coming at the position.
does any one remember when JC was a 3rd string with gibbs and said he would start the folowing week if the starter was benched?????? |

If anyone things that Colt could just step in and change the team, I'd probably say that you're a bit delusional, it's highly unlikely anybody on this board even got to see him much in college, only youtube Colt and his former coach at Hawaii both said he wasn't ready to lead an NFL team yet, he was still learning and developing.. Colt might go in and look a little more exciting in the passing game, but I'd have to say he'd probably throw more INTs as well.. he's accurate but still needs to develop more in defensive reads now that he's in the NFL.. Campbell does too, but he's shown most of the other characteristics of being a leader |
