He didn't try to evade the question. I don't think he's a liar. I don't think his priorities are to put football first if you know what I mean. If that makes me gullible than I guess I'm gullible but I'm surely not jaded about Zorn because of the way Vinny does his job. But I guess I know Zorn about as well as you do, so who knows? I guess my perspective of the man is different than yours. I've seen no reason to doubt his word. Vinny? Yes. Zorn? Not from what I've seen so far.
I don't really doubt Zorn's word as much as I just don't believe he has much say in the matter. I think Zorn probably does believe that Campbell will be his QB so he's not lying by saying that. Vinny may still feel otherwise though.

Maybe I'm just hopelessly optimistic but I'd like to think Zorn is involved in any major decision making and I don't think he would be left out of the loop especially when it comes to the QB position. If something was in the works for Cutler he would know about it, I don't see Vinny just making a move and saying here you go Jim, here's your new QB, like it or not.

(Also we did work out Sanchez today, that tells you something)
You guys have to realize that teams workout guys that aren't in their plans all of the time, to realize his potential in a trade possibility and many other reasons.

I'd prefer to talk about the QB's we already have on the roster. This is Campbell's last year to pull it all together. If he doesn't, he's gone. I'm still in the Colt Brennan fan club. I think HE could be the future here. I'm excited to see how he does with a year under his belt and what he does in training camp this summer. I think Colt could end up being a star but I hope we don't let him go somewhere else due to impatience. Therefore, bringing another QB here would certainly de-rail my hopes of seeing Brennan emerge in DC.

Cutler is not even a blip on the radar. We have too many other glaring needs. If we had any intentions of pursuing him, it would have happened. Just like we are working out Sanchez, it is just a smoke screen. Our Offensive line is our weakest point. No matter who we put under Center, they have to have time from protection to convert plays not just 5 yard hitches. After a while defenses stack the box when all you have is 5 yard quick-hitters. Our defense was a top tier defense last year. No need to fix it if it isn't broken. Our O-line starters are Rabach at C, Thomas and Dockery at G, Samuels and Janson/Heyer at T. We need better depth at all of our O-line positions. If any of these players go down with an injury, our second stringers are mediocre at best. We are also long in the tooth with age at many of these positions stated. Our C doesn't even have an adequate replacement should he go down and with many teams going to a 3-4 scheme, he will be tested all season long. A smart move will be to bolster our O-line to make a stretch run this year.

One of my friends from school went to the Bahamas a while ago. Some 'Skins were there he said and a bunch of the younger guys were hangin out by the pool with coolatas, talking to girls.

He said he saw JC in a lawn chair reading a book.

One, i believe him. Two, I def believe the part about JC. I think he's that type of guy. Calm and collected, and a bit reserved. I like him and his presence in the locker room. I think if we pick up a top guard our Oline problems are patched up, and the offense averages 25 pts a game next season, esp with our defense keeping other offenses off the field.

IF Zorn came out and said JC is his man then it is so. IF Vinny did get rid of JC now it would be an absolute embarrassment to Zorn and the FO. It would seem like they didn't have their shit together. I am glad that the Cutler talk is dying out. I pissed people off saying Jason was average to above average. I didn't want Cutler, but I personally don't think Jason is going to be the guy that gets us over the hump. Not sold on Brennan either. We really need to get a QB in 2010, but this time the scouts really need to pick a real winner.

I've been saying this all along (since this article came out). Honestly, I don't think the FO would throw Zorn under the bus.

It was probably Saunders' playbook!

According to one PFT.com Cutlers a drunk. I think it's no wonder the NFL is experiencing a shortage of quality QB's. Most of them are becoming drunks . Now every QB from the 2006 draft has a scandalous pic available on the internet.

And I mean who else do we got? Eli's got a drunk pic, Big Ben has one, Kyle Orton, Rex Grossman, Tony Romo. Alchol is costing the NFL +90 Passer Ratings.

I guess now we know why Kurt Warner was so good last year.

Well if that's what PFT.com says it must be true. Just because someone has a picture of Cutler drinking doesn't mean he's a drunk. It looks like he's at a wedding.
