Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
Just saw that Mike Green and Donald Brashear are suspended for Game 7. That sucks. Brash probably deserved it for his cheap shot. I didn't see what Green did.

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
Are you serious? Donald Brashear did lay that guy out. But why Mike Green?

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
SportsCenter just retracted their initial report. But both players have a meeting with league officials at 1pm. Can someone tell me what Mike Green did?

I think Morrison not Mike Green. Nothing is confirmed though. DB may get a game suspension.

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
Yeah, I don't know where this Mike Green stuff is coming from. Apparently ESPN doesn't either, because they don't know why he's in question for game 7.

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
lol apparently the rangers can't handle having obscenities hurled at them, only team in major league sports I guess.. once you're grown up you should stop whining about things like that, now we have this mess coming up, ugh

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
I thought for sure after that win, the Caps would win game 7, however, IF Green is out, that might change my mind. IMO Green is your MVP.

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
Crazy how you can fight on the ice and receive a few minutes in the box, but you knock someone over and you're looking at maybe missing game 7 of the playoffs.

Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
Well, he blindsided him with a forearm/elbow to the back of the head. I'm a huge Caps fan, but it was dirty and excessive. The fighting is at least mutual and face to face.

in the NFL we've seen cheapshots draw flags and sometimes ejections, not too often do you get a further suspension oh well |

In the NFL, if a guy gave a blindside forearm to the head of another player 10 yards away from the play, and the guy got knocked out and helped off the field, there would probably be a suspension.

From NHL.com: Brashear was suspended one game for initiating contact with Rangers forward Colton Orr during the pre-game warm-up. Re: Caps and Rangers Series Preview
6 games for Brash really sucks, especially with how hard they were going after Ovie at the end of the 3rd yesterday. I just hope the Caps doesn't play down to the rangers level like they did in all three losse. Just stick with what's working, play physical and shoot, shoot, shoot!
OTM, games tomorrow night. You should def. get back on board because this was a great year regardless of what happens tomorrow. Plus, we've found ourselves an awesome young goalie.
