Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens
Yeah I don't get why they are getting so outplayed. Especially on defense they're always chasing always slightly out of position.

Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens
The weird thing is the series is 2-1 but I, and I bet most of you guys, still feel like game 4 is a must win; especially since the NHL did us no favors by having games 4 and 5 on back-to-back nights.

Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens
Where the hell has Mike Green gone to? Save for one game, he's had a pretty lousy postseason. The defense as a whole has really left a lot to be desired. We can't expect 35+ saves from Varly on a regular basis.

Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens
I think he's been on he's heels trying to defend so much the last few games that he hasn't been able to move up to take extra chances. At some point the other guys are going to have to pick up the slack and let him do his thing as far as scoring goes.

In response to your earlier post. It could just as easily be CAPS up 3-0! Even after our worst performance in this series we still took there ass to OT. And they got a hell of a lucky deflection to get that OT win, they will be lucky to win another game in this series. The CAPS will regroup and play LIGHTS OUT TOMORROW! VARLY IS THE MAN! The entire team must step up tomorrow and stick it to there ass. And those officials from last night fckin suck ass, they all but gave the game to those shit birds....wonder how much that cost! GO CAPS!!!!!

We look absolutely awful. So flat. Our defense is just terrible right now.

Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens
varly had his first bad game of the playoffs last night. the entire team needs to step it up for tonights game. i say the winner of tonights game will win the series.

Re: NHL: Round Two, CAPS vs. pens
Bad performance last pm. No worries The CAPS are in the phone booth tonight with the series tied, we shall get revenge! WE NEED GAME 5 AT HOME.
No punishment for OVY....one good move by the NHL. Varly has to shake off last pm's performance and the rest of the team has to STEP UP and play wide open 60 MINUTES of CAP/ phone booth style hockey! http://voices.washingtonpost.com/cap...s-hi.html#more GO CAPS!!!!!
