Rudy, no matter how many times I watch it will always make me cry at the end. I love that movie because it envokes so much emotion form me. I'm welling up right now thinking of him getting into the game and getting that sack.

...and his Dad is there and all and the crowd is going insane...*cough*...No, it's my allergies, I'm not crying.

...Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!...*cough*

I agree I have 2 girls and 1 son, and just about any movie that, in my mind, i replace the child with one of my 3 and think, "Oh, my God, what if that happened to ..." Yeah that gets me going...

Re: Movies that make you cry?

I actually quite frequently get pulled at the heart strings during movies but not cry. Even in cheesy chick flicks. But some documentaries have made me near cry with some of the crap that people have to deal with. It is out of control.

But I guess a lot of the motivational movies can do that too.

I've never cried but I've been close!

The Notebook almost got me. I don't know if it's because the ending was sad or if it's because I was on a date and I actually thought I was going to get some that night.

Wait, does 2 girls 1 cup count? I cried when I saw that.

LMAO!!! 2 girls 1 cup didn't make me cry, but the first 20 seconds made me dry heave, and the mental images haunted me for days. (I said 20 seconds because the video clip didn't last longer than that before I was standing up and walking towards the toilet in anticipation of possible vomit).

Re: Movies that make you cry?

How about Aragon at the end of Return of the King. "A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!"

The Wrestler was another recent one that got me, as was Gran Torino.
