Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Cutler was pretty bad last night, but his WRs didn't help him out much either. Still, he plays way too out of control and really makes some dumb decisions.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Sanchez over campbell has yet to be seen, but Cutler over Campbell I think can be put to rest.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Yep, and you'd be whining about how bad Cutler sucked 5 games later and calling for Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy, too.

27 of 38 (71.1%), 236 yards, 2 tds, 104.7 qb rating vs the STEELERS defense! Keep in mind he is still learning the chicago playbook.
Man...I wish Campbell would "suck donkey" too.

Campbell has better numbers overall for the year so far.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Cutler will always be the superior player to Campbell, despite what some will try to tell you. The question was whether acquiring Cutler was worth the opportunity cost of giving up multiple first round picks. I do not think it was. The point ultimately became moot when Denver decided that Orton was a better system fit. But comparing Cutler to Campbell will ultimately prove a losing proposition for JC. What you have to do is compare to Cutler to Campbell, Orakpo, Jarmon (our 2010 3rd round pick), and whoever the Skins pick in the 1st round next year. That would have ultimately been the price paid.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Seems like the main difference between Cutler and Campbell is that Cutler is more apt to throwing into tight spaces than Campbell is. It's risk vs. reward type thing, but you have to wonder if it's a pivotal element that's missing from our passing attack.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
For ppl to say Cutler sucks, they are lying to themselves to make JC look better so they can cope with the fact that we tried to trade him outta here for a better QB. Cutler had a bad 1st game and the same ppl who come on here and defend JC saying "its his -fill in the blank-- game in a new offense were on here saying Jay sucks. had it been JC it would have been.
Its his first game in a new O, he will learn from his mistakes and improve. His WR's broke off routes. His O-line didnt give him 5 seconds to throw. The defense didnt force 6 3 and outs or score 14 pts on fumble and int returns. Cutler is good, there are reasons why 13 or more G.M's -including ours-were lined up at the door when Denver said they were looking to trade him. End Thread.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Why does this topic keep coming up? I'm not trying to be mean just that I'm happy we didn't make the trade also cause I think we can all agree his stats are very similar to JC's. If your going to trade atleast try to trade up not into a paralell universe.
but the trade was not made. Everyone's happy for different reasons. Lets move on. |
