Re: Potential Epic Fail
Do opponents even gameplan us running to the right? A nice bootleg every once in while would help the run a lot too.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
Not in the Red Zone! I sincerely doubt that you could have imagined a WR screen to the short side of the field inside the 10 yard line against the Giants or a HB pass on 3rd and goal at the 5 yard line against the Rams. I know I couldn't.

Ok, whatever. Last time I checked NFL coaches don't really stick around all that long. Personally I like to see Shanahan come here jsut becasue I am tired of watching Redskin football being played like a monkey trying to f--k a football. I just want to see TD's and lots of them!

Re: Potential Epic Fail
I dont care who we are playing, the Skins face a potential loss everytime they take the field. We are not a good enough team to kill anybody, have the teams in the league are in the same boat.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
so the drama is set, one way or another an epic fail WILL occur on Sunday. Either
A) the Skins lose (highly unlikely) or B) they win, and this very thread itself becomes an epic fail. It really is already a fail, but the Epic nature won't be clear till Sunday afternoon. |

Re: Potential Epic Fail
I don't see why it's very likely we'll loose. Stafford has been pretty bad, I can't see them putting up more than 10 points. As for our offense...

Re: Potential Epic Fail
I actually see us winning by 14 points. I'm not BSing either.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
I think the Lions have their best chance at breaking their 18 game losing streak on us because we're running out of Special Teams members to lead us to victory.
Week 1 - Hunter Smith had to score the only TD vs a non-prevent defense Week 2 - Shawn Suisham had to provide us with the only points we could score in our win If Rock Cartwright can return 3 kickoffs for TD's then we should be able to pull out a close victory in the lions game.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
Hey speaking of epic fail, was Haynesworth putting less pressure than Griffin was. Sure did not see a whole lot out of him yesterday.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
Well, at least we won't go in over-confident! That's been one of our biggest problems in the recent past.
With this team, anything is possible--from the best to the worst, or so it seems to me. As for the HC discussion, why do y'all think ANY of these marquee names would come to us? Last time, we couldn't get them and we settled on Zorn--are things BETTER now? I'd say they are worse. Why come here, unless it's just to pick up a quick check from Danny? What we want is one of the young up-and-coming coordinators--those that have shown creativity and fire, NOT an old guy. We had the best old guy ever in Gibbs II and it didn't work out.

Re: Potential Epic Fail
Look more closely. AH brings the heavy heat every time. He sucks up Olinemen like a dustbuster. Griff is benefiting from not seeing double-teams for the first time in years.
