Oakland and KC are the only winnable games left on the schedule. We'll probably be down to ARE as our QB by the end of the year. Campbell's going to get sacked 4-8 times a game from here on in.

4 or 5 wins tops this year.
Do you mean like when we didn't score any TDs against the Mighty Rams?

Check out what's ahead after the bye:

@ Atlanta
Denver
@ Dallas
@ Philly
New Orleans
@ Oakland
NYG
Dallas
@ San Diego

Outside of Oakland, it's looking like a rough 2nd half of the year. Top 5 pick anyone? Buckle up folks, things are gonna get real bumpy.
No doubt that's a tough schedule, but there's a lot of beatable teams there if the defense pitches it's best game. Atlanta is beatable, Denver is beatable, Dallas is very beatable, Oakland will beat themselves, and San Diego is beatable.

The two really, really tough teams on the remaining schedule, NYG and NO, we don't play them until the start of December. We'll probably be under a new coach by then, and we'll probably be a very different (if not improved team).

The key for the season is to get to the bye in good shape. Perhaps that means a simple 3-4 record, but playing Philly tough. If you lose the next two games to fall to 2-5, it hardly matters who we have after the bye, that's a 6-10 or 5-11 season.

Right now, I think NO is more beatable than Denver. The last two opponents have held Brees to NOTHING.

If by beatable you mean that we can beat these teams fists with our face, then..yeah, I guess they're beatable.

Traditionally we have always played well against the better teams. Going foreward, we can only hope tradition continues to hold true. I agree though our O-line situation does not enhance any chances we may have.

Re: Looking ahead, it's only going to get worse

GTripp, how can you call Denver beatable? They are undefeated and just beat the New England Freaking Patriots. They are playing excellent offense and defense. We, on the other hand, barely eeked by the pitiful lions and Rams and lost to the just as pitiful Panthers and Bucaneers. I know some say this team has a history of playing to the level of its competition, but that hasnt really been the case under Zorn. after our strong start last year, the only good team we beat was Philidelphia and we barely beat them.

The Redskins are a very very bad football team right now. I'd say we're one of the worst teams in the NFL and we are now without our two best starting offensive linemen. If we werent the worst offense in the NFL before last week, we certainly are now. Going back to the title of this thread, its only going to get worst. I think we lose to KC this week and the only team we beat for the rest of the year is Oakland... maybe. We are a 2-14 to 5-11 team right now. Unfortunately for us, there are alot of other really bad teams in the NFL this year, so we may not get a top 5 pick in next years draft to reward our "efforts."

Well at least a good draft pick will come our way. Who knows, we could trade it for more picks.

Maybe I'm over-reacting, but I feel that this is by far going to be the worst offensive line in football without Chris Samuels. Those of you who want to see Todd Collins are probaboly going to get their wish, because this is going to be like Ramsey in 2003 for Campbell... he's gonna get freaking killed back there if Samuels is out for any significant amount of time...

Outside of Kansas City and Oakland.. there is not a single game I expect the Redskins to win.

We'll find a way to squeak one out against a team we shouldnt beat (I'm actually thinking Dallas at home because I think they're gonna wind up pretty bad too).. maybe another one.. I'm thinking 5-11 or 6-10. If Samuels is back, then I might revise that to 7-9... but I have a bad feeling he might be out for a long time.

Same with Smoot, make him inactive and make Barnes your dime back. Start Jarmon and Orakpo on the line. Start Chris Wilson, Start DT and Kelly, and make Moss your slot receiver...and so on
I totally agree. We do have some talented young players, all they need is an opportunity. Watching last night's game seeing so many young players making pays had me asking myself why can't the Redskins do that?

Braylon Edwards has only been with the Jets five days, scored two touchdowns on the kind of plays we should be running to our receivers Mitchell & Kelly. It's difficult for me to understand why our young players do not get more of a chance to show what they can do. We also need for the QB to be unafraid to give his receivers a chance to make a play.

Joe Gibbs proved he could win with scrubs, with Bugel's coaching some of these young guys just might surprise. I'm not giving up, NEVER!!!!!!!!!!
