That's second to fans selling their tickets which some have started to do. At work we have people offering up Skins/Eagle tickets for free and no one wants them.

I just get the feeling it's going to get a lot uglier before seasons end.

Bilking fans
VC
Losing team
Selling beer in the bathroom
etc. etc. etc.
Whats wrong with selling beer in the bathroom? It ends up there at some point anyways unless your at the new Dallas stadium and you just take a leak on the first star you see.

Re: Zorn to coach the rest of the season

This announcement would have had more oomph if it came from Danny, since he can still fire both Zorn and VC late Monday night. But I hope that this sticks. When I've thought about who would take over for the rest of the year if Zorn were fired, I've become ill.

Re: Zorn to coach the rest of the season

Are we really placing great faith in this report? Because Vinny said it then it must be true? He also said that he hopes Zorn is the coach for many years in the future. I guess that is technically true because it would mean there was some sort of miraculous turnaround, but we all know that is complete bull. Total spin from VC. Also just setting the cover in case they are able to fire Zorn for cause at some point or if he resigns under pressure. "Hey we wanted him to succeed and gave him every opportunity to do so, but he did X so we had to let him go (and not pay him)."

Probably Zorn is the coach for the duration, maybe he is not. Vinny saying he will be is next to worthless.

Honestly even before this "endorsement" I was thinking Zorn would probably last the season. Snyder doesn't want to fire yet another coach during the season making the job even less desirable than it already is.

Well, if I'm Jim Zorn, I have no idea whether if I am relieved about this or what? Part of me can't help but to think the screws will continue to be tightened on Zorn as the season progresses until he finally screams uncle.

Watch next week, they tell Zorn that Chris Meidt will be the new QB coach

Two weeks later, they tell Zorn that Joe Bugel will be holding the press conferences

Three weeks later, they tell Zorn that Stan Hixon will be attending Zorn's kids' parent-teachers conferences

Four week later, they tell Zorn that John Palermo will be sitting at the head of the dinner table at the Zorn home for Thanksgiving

Yup. Plus without this endorsement, every single day in the media for the next 10 weeks you'd be hearing "is this it for Zorn?" or "latest update on Zorn's job status..." Those kind of constant distractions are bad for everyone in the organization.

Barring a miracle he's done in 10 games, but at least this lets the staff focus on trying to win a few games instead of putting out fires.

I seriously doubt Cerrato's statement will stop anyone from speculating about Zorn's job status. I agree that was likely the goal, but I doubt it will have much effect.

LOL! Good one. Milton. Taking Zorn's playcalling was like when someone took his stapler.

"ummm, Jim.... ahhh, we going to be hiring a consultant...yeah, we're going to be letting him call the plays, but ... ahh ... if you want to, yeah, you should still come to the game on Monday."

Seriously, but some ugly glasses on VC and -> Vinny Cerratto, Bill Lumbergh separated at birth.
