Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome
Interesting, think Tebow is a runningback? I think he is a QB. If we blow up this roster we will be terrible for 10 yeears. Some of those magic draft picks are gonna be busts. LOL!!! Use what you go to get where you going. The only player to warrant loyalty is Cooley??! EVeryone else can be traded. The only player to show his genitalia on the Internet is Cooley. He is a sick puppy that needs to be banned from the NFL, IMO.

Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome
It takes 2 RBs and I think one of them should be Portis. Gee whiz the man has given it all to the Danny, played hurt, did the little things, but they don't like Portis. They like Cooley, scrotum sack and all.

Well maybe not banned, but that raises a red flag.

I've never seen Portis break a tackle like Peterson does, or any other quality running back for that matter. I agree he's lost a couple of steps because he doesn't get through the line fast enough.

Simple mistake that he acknowledged.
Red flag for what exactly? |

Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome
The name of this thread should be get real. We want a RB like Peterson, a QB like Peyton, we want wideouts like Welker. We want a coach like Lombardi. We want the WCO. No team has all that. No team is perfect. No general manager can build you a team like that. Fact is, we should have won every game we have played so far, but we had injuries on the O-line. It's gonna take will take Buges a few weeks to straighten it up. It's called fate. Get real. Why not want a TE like Gates, atleast he can get jump balls in the red zone. Plus, Cooley is a turnstile, ask Peppers.

This should be the "I'm so done with..." thread. Yes, I'm so done w/ CP, JC, Vinny, and our whole coaching staff. I'm ready for sweeping changes.

How about his off the field charity work, to me that tells me all I need to know about his character. Plus he's never been a problem child on the field or off. No legal issues, no DWI's. No dog fighting, etc., etc. |

Re: Clinton Portis among players who have worn out their welcome
I think that could pretty much be the title of every thread on this board. There's not a whole lot positive to say about this franchise right now.

I think you may have Cooley colored glasses on. That's cool. You are a Cooley fan. Nothing wrong with that. But he has his short comings and is responsible for some of the bad play on he field this year. What absolves him from responsibility. Oh I know "Cooley goggles".
