Oh, so you doubt my reading skills eh? Well if it makes you feel better, I've never underestimated how snide you can be.

You're absolutely right. No one would want to run on those issues you spoke about. I mean obeying the laws, that's for the little people right?

(1) Don't put any faith in you illegal buddies. When the good ship US starts to sink, they'll flee like rats.

(2) Yeah, India just bought a shit load of gold. The Chinese are buying as much as they can. Both of them are slowly dropping the dollar. I guess they're not as smart as you are Saden.

FT.com / Global Economy - Gold extends record high on India purchase

(3) I'm not worried about any of it. You liberals will not be able to float all of those free meals forever. Eventually the piper comes to collect.

Actually over half of those people who voted republican in VA said that it was just because Creigh Deeds had ideas with no plan. Not so much that they are opposed to the Obama administration.

He ran a horrible campaign. People in the area are so pissed at Deeds right now. Water under the bridge, I guess.

I don't remember hearing any of Deed's ideas that were worth a damn?

All McDonnell had to say was, "I'll drill for oil". Bam! You've got my vote!

Yes, the exit polling absolutely verified this wasn't a referendum on Obama. The party chair and every Republican talking head also said as much.

Democrats can't afford to ignore this, but it wasn't some kinda of message to Obama either. At least not yet. This had everything to do with Deeds and the type of campaign he ran.

I'm not trying to be cute either. There's no use in having all of your eggs in one basket. I'd vote for an independent or a libertarian if there was one worth voting for. If you want a socially liberal / fiscally conservative candidate, be a libertarian.

The Republicans are who they are.
This is why I find the Libertarian party appealing. Even though I know you warned me against jumping ship too fast because they are far to the right.

I'm definitely socially liberal (bearing arms, gay marriage, whatever. As long as you're not messing things up for me and getting in the way of what I wanna do, go for it.. is my motto) as for fiscally, I think I might sit on the fence.

There are some things (yes like "art") that I do like that gets funded, but other things like welfare is out of control and honestly, I think we're better off without it. I'm friends with people who are on welfare and they use that shit like a crutch. My close friend was considering applying for food stamps and I practically bitched her out. She works full time, goes to school full time and doesn't even live in state. She lives in an area with a lower cost of living than we do here. She didn't NEED them. Just wanted them so she could have extra money in her pocket at the end of the month. Pissed me the hell off. I bitched so hard, I talked her out of it.

But honestly, I'd rather have the government practically invisible than being Big Brother in my life.

I do not know of any politicians that want to end social programs . I do believe that most do not want massive welfare, paid for by hard working Americans . If liberals want something , why can't you work for it ? I always hear Liberals/progressive's saying how smart they are and how stupid Conservatives are . Yet , libs/prog's always say repub's have all the money and run all of our big business's ? I hear the left always crying " I worked 30 years and have nothing " . If libs are smart , why can't they run a business , how can a smart libs work 30 years and end up with "nothing " . Not one of my relatives or friends who are Repubs have money problems ? Maybe Libs just spend too much time complaining , getting stoned , worshiping celebrities and spend too much time tanning

pretty original. how long have you felt this way? when you heard it at the RNC? you had 8 years of Bush, with another 6 of a republican backed congress. your voice wasn't very loud back then. as they say, hindsight is......

Let me see, the top 3 richest guys in America right now are liberal (Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Larry Ellison). Don't confuse corporate business interests and personal views of the person who owns such business. You really don't know who has money in this country and who doesn't. Don't try to walk on water when you can barely walk...it's a recipie for disaster and you'll probably drown.

BTW, in business it doesn't get bigger than John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie, and you guested it, both liberal by today's standards. At their peak they were worth $323 and $297 billion respectively.

How about this? I'll stop being snide the day stop being a dick?

I hear you about the law but how do you plan to enforce the law? Stop everyone that looks Mexican on the street?

1. All their lifeboats are welded onto our ship. When it sinks I'm sure they'll go down with it. Them Canadians too. Poor bastards.

2. India is making a calculated bet against the return of the bull market any time soon. When the bear turns into a bull they'll be the biggest losers. Never fucking bet against America! Even filthy stinking liberal knows that.

3. When the piper comes you let him know I said FU and he can come see me personally. I got something special for him.
