Didn't they work together in San Fran at one time?

Two weeks in a row the defense kept the Skins in a game UNTIL the 4th quarter when the Skins had the lead and the defense had the opponent in bad field position. At that point in time, the defense folded like a card table chair... Happened two weeks in a row. Has happened at least a half dozen times in the last two years - - maybe 8 times? The offense is not very good but the defense has to take its fair share of the responsibility for losing games. To this point, they have pretty much gotten a pass...

The game can't always be looked at in just the context of the final two minutes. Tryon's interception could have been huge, instead it was just another stat in the box score. Just like Fletcher's interception last week or Hall's fumble recovery.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Eagles)
Apparently Snyder was ready to fire Zorn around the second Philly game last year. Apparently an enraged Snyder blew a gasket after the KC loss this year. So I think he was ready to can the entire FO after the KC game. Instead we got Sherm Lewis, which I think made Snyder feel like he was doing something while still waiting for January 4, when pink slips become official.
