what will shanny think of JC? will JC fit in his scheme? should we draft o line or qb with the 4th? is bradford or clausen a franchsie qb? is JC a franchise qb? can we win with JC and a better o line? etc . . . .

just the nature of the beast imo. and JC could have done more to silence the same criticism we hear year after year. (jk)
Not only that but what kind of a message board would this site be if it controlled who made the topics and what topics were made? We will go through a bunch of BS topics and get a really good one. It's just the way it is. Plus we are in a dry spell right now. At seasons end we waited for VC's firging. Then waited 2 hrs for his named replacement. LOL. Then we waited for Zorn to be fired. Then who the next HC was. Then all the positional coach's. Pro bowl then SB. Right now there is nothing to discuss other then who will likely stay and who will be cut or traded. Then it will be who are we picking up in FA and a dry spell until draft day. This happens every year folks.

I'll take any of these topics though over the "Lets see your Redskins cave" topic. I don't have enough rooms in my house to simply set aside one room for nothing but Redskins gear, collectables, or yard sale items. I'll buy hats, jerseys, key chains things like that but to see some of the rooms.... Don't get me wrong they look nice and I might be slightly jealous but I can't see myself spending that kind of money or revolving that much of my world around a team I don't work for or play for. In other words take one of your rooms and throw a bunch of CNN or ESPN shit in it and step back and take a look at it.

As I remember it, some on this site didn't believe we would hire Shannahan, fire Vinny, bring Bruce Allen or that we could even sign Haynesworth and keep Hall. All these things that happened where discussed on this site before it ever occurred. IMO most times on this site members undervalue the talent of our team and make it seem that we are 2 steps from the Rams or the Browns, NOT TRUE. I understand people can be cynical, but please remember the reason that this site was created… To give intelligent fans the opportunity to share their dreams, passions and have discussion about the team they love.
A lot of us on here have been on this site for a long time and understandably after a while it may become annoying to see the same topics and same ideas all the time; however I ask please to let people dream. Let’s talk Redskins, not troll around in Football related discussions looking to highjack the discussion into talks about nothing and bashing other members. Take that to the off-topic section.
In answer to the discussion topic I am tired of threads that are made as passive aggressive cynical jokes about other member’s legitimate Football discussion. I come on this site to talk Redskins football, not about other members of the message board. No one's opinion on here is better or worse than others.

Step off my soap box…
For a long term member your sense of humor and understanding of how we operate is alarmingly lacking...

Well then I guess you'll just never know how many kids from how many women in how many different states Antonio Cromartie has, now will you?

Yeah, I see it from the point that if we didn't re-hash things we'd have nothing to talk about. But when you've got the same 8 people arguing for 30 pages it doesn't give me much reason to enter the thread. I'd rather have a new thread pop up and something to follow there.

I understand completely the sense of humor in it. but I like to be the voice of reason for the person who just joined or is visiting the site. Or the young kid still in school who wants to talk about his favorite team and his trades don't make a lick of sense. If I came to a discussion board and one of the top 5 topics of discussion is "What topic have you had enough of", I'd be like WTF? I thought people like to talk about redskins?!? Either way its not a big deal and threads like this won't stop me from visiting the site. I just feel like this discussion should be placed somewhere off topic.

I still got love for ya'll though

off topic - it seems everyone commenting on this thread joined btw Jan and Mar, except for that black sheep 53 fan.

im guessing the months when most people join is in that same 3 month offseason stretch. i wonder if thats indicative of fan forums for all nfl teams or just ours b/c the skins are the reigning off-season champs with so many coaching changes, etc.

Well I really joined in November. But for myself, and I'm sure many others in this thread what happened (and Matty could tell you more) is the site totally crashed on us and we all had to re-register in late February one year. That's why you see a lot of Feb-March registrations

Im sick of arguing that if we draft a qb in the first round the oline will still be addressed.

Maybe we should give him more time. I mean Quake and I were pretty bad when we first joined but that might have been due to more of a lack of forum etiquette. By the way if you're reading this Happy Late Birthday Quake.
