Re: 2010 NCAA Tourney
Aww man, I could never go a year without filling one out. When I was 10 I filled out one for my Dad's office pool (I didn't know anything about college hoops back then, just a crap shoot) and I won. A couple hundred bucks to a 10 year old is filthy rich. I've been in at least one bracket pool every year since. Love me some brackets.

Re: 2010 NCAA Tourney
Northern Iowa? I didn't even know there was more than one university in that state... everyone's brackets have to be damn near shredded by now- but I haven't had this much fun in years. It's cool to see all these upsets.

Re: 2010 NCAA Tourney
Northern Iowa had been pretty good all year long but no way did i see them getting past Kansas. It didn't really hurt me that much because i had Tenn beating Kansas in the elite 8.

Re: 2010 NCAA Tourney
A 9, 10, 11 and a 12 seed in the Sweet 16?!?!?
I lost two of my Final Four teams already but my Finals teams are still alive...but there have been many more shocking upsets this time around than I ever remember. A lot of people picked Kansas to win, but I had them losing in the 3rd round so that won't hurt too badly, but I lost Georgetown and Villanova devastatingly early. My bracket is OK...in 2nd with the Warpath group and leading in another one. Now I must say GO KENTUCKY. (and everyone who plays Duke)

Re: 2010 NCAA Tourney
I still have 3 of my 4 Final Four teams...but it doesn't matter since my winner decided to lose to Northern Iowa. Then when I thought Maryland was dead in the water, they fought all the way back for the lead, only to lose on a buzzer beater. DAGGER!
Cornell could be this year's George Mason. Those kids don't miss and if Kentucky starts to misfire, they could very well come out of the East.

Re: 2010 NCAA Tourney
Duke fans generally maintain that Maryland is not a rival, citing the importance of the Duke-Carolina rivalry and the general record of the Duke-Maryland games. Recently, with the decline of the Terrapins, the importance of the games has faded from the national spotlight.[2][3][4][5][6]
Duke–Maryland rivalry - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Last 10 Duke: 7-3 All-time series Duke: 107–61 I guess when UMD beats Duke it's kind of like busting that first nut though, cool that you guys get to do it every now and again, it's not like we won the last 6 before you guys pulled that one off. |
