He does not always express objective viewpoints, espically when it comes to Albert Haynesworth. Reading his various blogs on the subject one can readily see how obsessed he is with making him a NT.

Shahanan and Allen knew about this long before going into last week so they weren't blindsided.

None of the Redskins should be blindsided by this, they knew what they were getting when they signed AH last year. This is how he operates. They're kidding themselves if they thought they were going to change him

Again, more hatred towards Landry.... Did I miss the report that Landry skips practice all the time? Maybe I am wrong, I just don't remember hearing that Landry is "one of the biggest slackers".
Wasn't it last year or two years ago that no one knew where laron was and he wasn't returning phone calls to the coaches, and later he eventually showed up to training camp and was just chilling in Louisiana

Has it been determined that his reason for doing whatever he's doing is a grievous one? ...... And does the team find his behavior objectionable?

Yes, it was reported that he had not returned phone calls last summer. I wouldn't say he was just chilling though. Training with his brother Dawan in Slidell, LA. My good friend works out at the same gym as LaRon.

Lets run a "1-6 defense" all preseason with Albert as the nose tackle. Maybe that will change his tune.

Haven't heard anything other than they knew beforehand

Shanahan asked for team leaders to be there, who said Al is a team leader? Just because you are the highest paid doesn't mean you are a leader (see CP).

It is also jumping to conclusions to say he is unhappy. If he was unhappy, he wouldn't have shown up the first day.

People need to calm down. When you pay someone 41 million guaranteed, you have set yourself up for this type of thing.

I am happy to see that he is preparing himself for another All Pro season.

I don't see too many calling for his head, but that is lame to show up then leave. This fat bastard is getting paid a lot, and you would think he would be motivated of getting an early start with the 3-4 or heads up with the new regime. Sure it is voluntary, but still why show up then leave? It just plain looks bad and makes him look well, like a fat, lazy bastard.

The thing is that fat isn't even really a reference to his size, at least not directly. In fact it's more of the fans way of calling him lazy. I've noticed that recently about big people. If they're seen as slackers or in the way they get called fat. If they're go getters and hard workers they get called big. Case in point "Big Mike Williams" and "Fat Albert."

I've also noticed that when Haynesworth is playing well he gets called Big Al where when he seems to be slipping, like when he's on the field winded, he gets called "Fat Albert."

Guys, it's just voluntary camp.. Plus read this:

But here's the thing: He never intended to and the Redskins were made aware of his plans, people familiar with the situation said.....

Haynesworth also participated in other first-day activities. But Haynesworth, who is determined to have a big year in 2010, comitted to an individual workout regime with a trainer before the Redskins' plans were set, according to the people with knowledge of the situation.
Redskins Insider - Haynesworth's workout regime

Since Redskins are aware of the situation; I don't see any reason for us to jump gun on Haynesworth..

He would still stop the run.

I don't remember that being during the mandatory phase of the offseason.

When in rome..... They were all doing it. U boys, Laron, Springs, etc.

Don't hold him up to a standard that the rest of team didn't follow.

He wasn't signed for $42 million to be 275 and running a 4.7.

There were a few calling for his head. "Let him go"...."He is a cancer" etc.

That is a great f-ing idea. He has a GUARANTEED $21 million coming in April and his 10 and 11 salaries are also guaranteed. I understand venting but if anyone honestly wants to come on here and type something that they percieve to be coherent on how it makes sense to pay the most dominating lineman in the league $42 million for one year and drop him off the roster, I want to see it.

Don't worry, the jealousy is out there. 106.7 the fan will probably mention it 4 times an hour. Czaban and Polin (probably the worst Redskin analyst on any media) will bring it up every chance they get.

He is the best D lineman on the team by miles (probably the best player overall), the best D lineman in the division, the best D lineman in the conference and probably the best D-lineman in the league.

How many 360 pounders in the world are in good enough shape to play D Tackle on every snap of a game?
