Who in their right mind would call this game meaningless?

If we had lost I can only imagine what we would be calling it. The season would be over.

The season wouldn't have been over but the outlook certainly would've been bad. 1-3 with Green Bay and the Colts coming up? I'm just glad we won so we're 2-2 now.

So Green Bay next week...how do we feel about Aaron Rodgers coming to FedEx being blitzed and beating those blitzes?

SCP said it didn't mean much.

You talked about the people who said this was all luck and were completely negative (although I can't help but think about you defending Saden's Goat thread 5 minutes after we beat Dallas).

At the end of the day, I am with you. If you win a game that puts you in first place, it is a big game. My 3 year old could figure that out.

I got a question, why is our offense great in the first quarter, and then disappears in the rest of the game?

Maybe Haslett will come up with an unique approach? Nobody said he has to blitz, he just comes up with what he feels is the best gameplan for success.

If Haslett does blitz all day and Aaron Rodgers has a field day, well we'll see. Or maybe Rodgers will anticipate playing coverage all day based on what we did against the Eagles. I don't know but these next two weeks will be a huge test to see if we really did improve against the Eagles or if this game was just an anomaly.

Re: Smoot Lays The Smack Down (Redskins at Eagles)

I think the key against Green Bay will be to keep their WRs in check like we did against against the Iggles wideouts. My concern will be once again the check downs and throws to the middle of the field that seemed to be wide open in this game.

A big plus is that GB doesn't have much of a running game. Also, I am not sure how well their o-line is now, but they used to be not that great of a unit.

Yeah....I'm scratching my head. I thought the only meaningless games in the NFL were ones played by teams that clinched the conference #1 seed.

Now you've done it. That Kuhn kid is going to bust a big one on us.

I don't think anybody called this game meaningless, but it certainly could've been inferred from one of the above posts.

I have no idea how a division game on the road could be called meaningless either.

With all the pink gear on the field one could infer that the NFL is trying to tap into the gay sports fans market but that doesn't make it a wise inference.
