yep...our only shot at Luck is for Carolina to suck. The way Newton is playing that is probably the only scenario where the #1 pick would be open for buisness. That's how I am looking at it. The skins were never going to finish last in the league...the key is someone who doesn't need Luck finishing last.

In the second round I'd get Kellen Moore. Look at Kurt Warner, and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Both were smart with weak arms. Warner was really accurate and smart, knowing where to throw and into the blitz. Kellen is the same way. The only difference between Kellen and Kurt is height, and passing arm (left for kellen, right for kurt). Kellen IMO is just another great player that's 'too small' or 'does have the big arm' that will get to the pros and dominate.

third round I'd get an ILB like Donta Hightower or a backup DE incase Jarvis takes a while to recover.
Hosley might be the best CB in VT History and they've had some really good ones. He's a player.

Skins will be looking QB though. Mark it down.

Not a believer in fitzpatrick yet.
Yeah, Warner of the late '90's had fine arm strength.

Carolina won't be the worst in the league. The Luck sweepstakes will be decided in the Luck Bowl, Week 5, KC vs. Indy @ Indy. Other than this game, I only see 1 other game for either team to even have a 50/50 chance to win.

Rumor is that KC has already sewn a Luck jersey and sent him a playbook. :cheeky-sm

hosely is more like a deangelo hall than a revis imo. hosely makes a lot of big plays but i dont think he will be a shut down guy in the nfl. more of a risk taker/playmaker

Re: 2011 Season & 2012 Draft

After this weekend of teams just looking terrible, we're somehow pretty secure in being in the top half of the 32. At this point it seems the best that we are going to be able to pick is Te'o (not that that is a bad thing in anyway). WalterFootball.com: 2012 NFL Mock Draft: First Round Continued No Suck for Luck for us.

dallas is going down tonight!

USC Trojans' Matt Kalil to enter 2012 NFL draft - ESPN Los Angeles

Guess that means Barkley is coming out as well because he's been parroting they were a package deal. (which I do not believe)

Agree Hosely is more playmaker than shutdown.

I think CB is the toughest positions to project at the next level, followed by QB and WR.

He will petition the NCAA to allow him to go to law school while he plays his senior season and trains to get onto the 2012 Olympics team to compete in the 400-meter hurdles.

The NFL—where he’ll likely be a top 10 pick—can wait.

“You gotta have a plan, but realize that plans don’t always work out. Plan B is the NFL,” Griffin says. “Whenever you ask me what are my plans, the first thing that comes out of my mouth is not to be an NFL player. I want to go to law school, I want to be a lawyer, maybe a sports agent. That’s the plan. All of that other stuff doesn’t matter until I’m done here at Baylor.”

And for every underdog put in every situation that was seemingly too immense."

He's not coming out to play. He want's to be a lawyer. NFL money is Plan B for this kid. Got to give him credit. That takes a man right there to say that.

The question is when did he make that statement? Since he won the Heisman he hasn't said weather he's going to stay or enter the draft. More than likely he made that statement months ago. I think it's 90% chance he's going to come out.

RG3 parents are already interviewing agents for him. I think he's more than likely going to come out.
