Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
For the most the roster is set. I could see maybe 2 or 3 pieces changing.

Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
So I follow a fair number of Skins on Twitter and of the ones that made yesterday's roster, that I follow, Stallworth was the only one that has said absolutely nothing (bad grammar) about making the team. Not trying to read too much into his silence, but I wonder if him and his agent are laying low for a few more days until the dust clears.

So true , as long as we are kicking ass . As far as merriweather , he actually bragged during last year ( radio shows ) that he did his own thing , no way I bring him here .

Wonder why the Pats released Meriweather?
I know they had issues with him "free lancing" (aka lavar arrington'ing it up) and benched his ass. Wonder if that came back into play. I'm sure this incident didn't endear him with Belichick.

Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
Everette Brown cut by Panthers. Too small for 4-3 DE. I always thought that he was playing out of position. Could be a fine pass rusher at OLB for a 3-4 team. He has excellent speed, as I recall.
Tyrone MacKenzie cut by Tampa Bay. I like him at ILB. Igor Olshansky would be a nice pickup, IMO. The choice is between a player who is a run stopper and not a pass rusher or one of two players who are neither (Golston and Scott). All three of them are about the same age, so that's not a factor. I think our DL rotation was hurt badly when we lost JJ for the season. Can anybody think of a guard we could possibly pick up? We're hurting at that position too, IMO. |

In terms of rotation and depth, I think we'll be just fine. If Carriker can find his groove this year, the defensive line will be pretty good. |

Wouldn't it be something if Orakpo or Kerrigan torched Dockery and annihilated Romo? It would make me giggle like a little school girl.

Re: Final Cuts From Around the NFL
Did Holliday make the Cardinals? What a job by Shanah-allen in getting two starters for a couple of throwaways and a 6th round pick.
