From what I understand, the drastic change with Nike is in the form of the material that the uniforms are made of, which will probably provide, naturally, a different look all in itself. As far as logo changes, the NFL teams control all of that. They ultimately decide color scheme and so forth. Certainly, it's not out of the question for Nike to propose certain changes at the discretion of the NFL owners.

Re: 2012 uniform changes thread
i dig the all black as a side dish but not as the main course. i am very confused by the article on nfl.com - they mention a change from adidas to nike. did they mean from reebok to nike? can anyone shine any light upon my ignorance?

Re: 2012 uniform changes thread
I like the history of the Redskins B&G, but i am not against the idea of a new uniform as it may represent a change for the better, and basically the team establishing a "new identity" with Shanahan and Allen.
Sadly, these days you see Burgandy & Gold and you think of one of the league's worst teams, over-paid past their prime players, etc... We are doing things the right way and I don't think it would be terrible if we adopted a new uniform. My favorite skins uniform is the one from 2003, the dark burgandy jersey with the spear. Maybe tweak that a little bit. It really looked awesome i thought.

Also, side note: All these possibility pictures have young, fit, trim athletes in them. Why don't we get one of a 400 pound lineman in it? That would give us a better more realistic idea of what to expect.

Re: 2012 uniform changes thread
Some of those pro combat uniforms blow. Like the Browns? And the Chiefs? God. I'm not a fan of ours either. But some do look bad ass. The Falcons, The Eagles, Panthers...
