Re: 2012 Draft Grades: Post Here
Hey Kiper, the Redskins made the playoffs largely on the backs of two NFL history making rookies, RGIII (highest rookie QB rating in NFL history) and Morris (2nd leading rusher in the NFL in 2012).
I remember seeing a factoid/stat on the TV screen during one of our games stating not since the 1930's or 40's has an NFL team drafted a starting QB and RB together with such on field success in their rookie years. How did you miss that mophead?. Add to that we did not have a killer defense to compliment them. Add rookie Crawford who took over for suspended C. Griff and impressed by taking over all kick return duties from a terribly slumping Brandon Banks. This was another one of the key rookies that made our playoff run possible. Then add to that, the other three NFC east teams did not even make the playoffs. Sorry Kiper we deserve at least an A-. In your path to being a so called draft expert Mel Kiper you lost the real reason why we play the game: to make the playoffs and win Championships. Not to collect the most draft picks and be the offseason champs. Who gives a crap about not having the most draft picks if we are winning playopff team again. Don't agree with you Kiper. FU If the Giants owner and the NFL had not incorrectly stripped us of a ton of salary cap money we would be in the big game next week. Last edited by Defensewins; 01-26-2013 at 02:12 PM. |

Knowing what we all know now, would you rather have Russell Wilson and our first rounders back, so we could have also gotten janoris Jenkins. Or RG3 and no firsts for a few years.

Offseason man.
And I forgot that A) someone asked this before and B) what people had answered and C) I thought that the question that was asked before was RG3 or Wilson straight up; I'm asking with the whole drafts picks countered in

Still I'd take Griffin I'm telling you he will win a super bowl in Washington soon

RGIII is a better leader than Wilson. A 'leadership' analogy: Wilson is like Romo whereas RGIII is like Brees.

yeah I dont know about that. Both have shown impressive leadership qualities. The biggest difference to me is RG3 is the better, faster runner. More of a playmaker with his feet. Wilson would have to tape a cheetah to his back to match that speed.

As much as I love RG3, Wilson can do everything RG3 can do. I'd take the picks and Wilson.

Wilson doesn't have the arm or the speed Griffin has. Sometimes we forget how bad ass the guy really is.

And will be. Five years from now I expect that Gryphon will have left Wilson in the dust in terms of development.

the draft grade is an a +++++++++++, with the exception of mcrib. He needs to step it up this next year if he plays.
