Bernie Kosar was one of my favorite QBs when I was a kid (I played in a flag football league when I was 10-11 and split as the starting QB and would throw side arm like he used to)

That's sad. He sounds either drunk or drugged out of his mind. Some players really can't handle the life after all the fame and fortune are gone.

Gotta love Dale Jr., how come he doesn't drive for Gibbs?

Good read. He's a real fan. Dale driving for Gibbs racing sounds like it would be the perfect fit. Must have something to do with money I would imagine.

They did speak a few years back. The Earnhardt brand would bring JGR a lot of money...but not many wins

Maybe Joe will have him winning by teaching him to drive his guts off.

Peyton Hillis of Kansas City Chiefs likens Joe Thomas of Cleveland Browns to 'crazy ex-girlfriend' - ESPN

I hear Hillis was one of the nicest guys that Smoot has ever met. Not arrogant or full of himself at all.

Agreed. Not a single top ten player at any of the skill positions. I cant think of one other team that doesnt have atleast one. Even the Jags have Blackmon.
Edit: not making excuses for the guy because he has been so bad this year I dont know if talent would help him but the lack of it sure makes things worse. He might be "serviceable" if he had some weapons.

Just saw that Rolle and Phillips missed practice today. Could be a good thing for Brees and a good thing for the Skins.

Darnell Dockett of Arizona Cardinals fined an amount in 'six figures,' according to source - ESPN

Not sure I've seen a player be fined for something against his own teammate. Six figures at that? Wow.

Really surprised the Cards didn't suspend Dockett (without pay) for a game. Can't have that type of shit go on.

It would be nice to see both Seattle and NYG have upset losses this week. Time for Smoots undercover qb in Arizona to win some for the Skins!

Re: Around the NFL...Week XIV Mode

Not too bad, out of Gil Brandt's top 100 the Redskins got 4 of them:

RGIII
Cousins
Minnifield
LeRibeus
