That's the grand total for ONE seasons worth of viewing the Redskins at FedEx. Double that if you want to bring a friend. Now, this doesn't even factor in the costs of gas, food, and other game day related items that would incur a cost.

All that for one season's worth of entertainment. Now add in the fact that if you drop 1500 on a TV, you get to use it everyday, all year round. Not only that, the next season, you won't have to drop 1500 again to view your favorite team. Investment wise, this is a no brainer.
It's just a matter of how you choose to spend your entertainment dollars. Unless you are suggesting that we should spend out entire lives in front of the TV because it's cheaper. Some people like to go to broadway...some people go to the movies every other weekend...some people like to go out to dinner a lot. What i am saying is everyone wastes a certain amount of money a year going out and having fun...and some of those peope choose to spend that money on the NFL.

I was speaking for myself. That wasn't a reflection on what people should choose to do with their money. FD made the comment about me bitching about a $75 ticket when the TV was $1,500 so I broke it down to show how I felt about it.

I don't think it's just the NFL that is overpriced, even NBA lower level seats, concerts, hell even broadway plays. Prices are skyrocketing, but salaries are not. Every price point has a plateau and I think it's close to being achieved in the NFL. May be wrong, but we'll see this next decade or so.

OK fair enough. I think NBA & Broadway is even more overpriced. As expensive as the NFL is there are only 8 dates which makes it more exclusive. NBA has 41 dates and ticket prices that are more then the NFL for the lower level and Broadway charges over $100 for the worst seat and they do shows all year long. I sure as hell wish my season tickets cost less but I guess what i am saying is that all entertainment is overpriced and unless your willing to stay home all the time your going to get gauged by someone...

I believe the higher ticket price is nothing more than just passing the cost onto the customer for the "upgrades" to the stadium.

I have a 65 inch Vizio razor LED smartHDTV with a 32'' vizio soundbar and subwoofer in my mancave. Most wonderful television I have ever owned. I also bought a 60 inch vizio razor LED smartHDTV for my living room at walmart during their blac friday. I got the 65 inch for 1288 dollars, and the 60 inch for 678.

In terms of quality and overall performance, I think the Vizio's and Sony's are probably the top two in my book. The 47 inch Sony LCD in my bedroom has been a wonderful TV for 1 1/2 years. Samsung is a good one, but their are some lemons in the bunch.

Thats also assuming you don't have any friends to go in on the parking pass. Tickets only went up about $110 for the season so its not that much. I'd bet most of the people bitching never ev en go to the games or own season tickets.

So what? Every winning team raises their prices. Snyder is a business man, not our friend. You want to see his latest money project RG3 then be ready to $$$ if you don't others will.

A game at Southern Miss will drain you of some coin, too.

True, he is a business man, but I think he's a business man that takes advantage of his customers. I believe if the Cooke family still owned the team we wouldn't see these outragous prices for parking, food, beer bottled water and so on.

The important question is, have they improved the dream seat experience? Because I heard it was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. [/sarcasm] :smashfrea

I think the Skins are in the ballpark of price is charged around the league. I doubt that any other owner would charge significantly lower prices. Your statement sounds much more like A grass is greener philosophy than something that you could actually prove.
