Re: Official 2013 Redskins Regular Season Schedule
Yeah they open in San Diego. I thought that was a pretty odd choice for Houston to be in there. That would be a 9:30 start for them right?

Re: Official 2013 Redskins Regular Season Schedule
A couple of schedule quirks that jumped out at me..
-Nearly 30 days between home games early in the season, Sept 22 vs Detroit and then at the Raiders, bye week, at Dallas before coming back to face Chicago. Long time to be away from home. -3 of our 5 primetime games come in a 4 game stretch. That's going to be interesting to see how we deal with a constant spotlight. -We don't leave the Eastern time zone after Nov. 7th. -If we end November with 4 losses or less we should be in really good shape for the playoffs.. Our December schedule sets up to be slightly easier than that of the Giants or Cowboys.

Re: Official 2013 Redskins Regular Season Schedule
The pressure being out on the team and III in particular to become the "new face" of the NFL is immense for a second year guy coming off knee reconstruction. Has there been a player in recent memory being thrust so clearly into the spotlight that anyone can remember?
If there is a guy who can handle the pressure of the organization, the DMV metro area, the fans, his own recovery, and now the NFL marketing machine it is our QB. I would imagine he relishes in the opportunity to play in front of millions. I also see a high likely hood of the game against the Giants or Cowboys being flexed to Sunday night.

Re: Official 2013 Redskins Regular Season Schedule
I was counting the Redskins as a tougher opponent for the Giants than them for us. :-)

Re: Official 2013 Redskins Regular Season Schedule
What jumped out at me when I first looked at the schedule is that we play our out-of-division away games at some of the worst possible venues for visiting teams. We play at Green Bay, Oakland, Denver, Minnesota, and Atlanta. The NFL didn't do us any favors in that regard.

Re: Official 2013 Redskins Regular Season Schedule
The NFL didn't have it out for us. We won the division which means we play two first place NFC teams. One at home and one away. The other conference and non conference games we play at their place because a few years ago during the division rotation we played those teams at our place.
