Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
I think we might need an intervention: "GTripp, we need to talk. We need to talk about you and your problem with Kool-Aid. Dont go the way of Aceindahouse. He drown in a puddle of it."

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
Skins - 24
Eagles - 17 Game is not as close as the score indicates as Skins head out to a 21-3 halftime lead riding a lot of Alfred Morris & a defense that completely shuts down the Eagles offense. Robert mainly hands off with a few play-action tosses for big gains, including 2 redzone TDs to Davis and Garçon. Eagles score 2 TD's late with the game already in hand as Kelly desperately tries to avoid a blowout in his first NFL game. Griffin: 12-15, 210 yds, 2 TD's & 4 rushes for 22 yards Morris: 26 carries, 148 yards, TD & 4 rec, 34 yds Davis: 6 rec, 71 yds, TD Garcon: 5 rec, 80 yds, TD Offensive player of the game: O-Line! Defensive player of the game: London Fletcher |

I think GTripp's score is conservative.
A new day folks. A. New. Day.

Re: Skins vs Eagles week 1
This should be a close game as most of these division games are. Philly still has several good players...McCoy, Jackson, Jason Peters, Trent Cole..I expect a close game. RG3 will be a bit rusty and I think we're all fooling ourselves if we think he's just going to come in and light it up. But I do think we are still the better team...Skins 27 Eagles 24.

By the way, this new Warpath look is interesting. The banner is awesome, but I'll have to get used to the color scheme. |

For years I have been stupidly superstitious about predicting Redskins wins. Particularly against the Eagles. Following my belief that a new day has dawned for Redskins Nation and that last year was merely a hint of where this team is headed, I am predicting a blow out of epic proportions against a talent poor, scheme challenged division rival. It will NOT be close. Hell, it may not even be believable.
RGIII is going to come up big in the big lights and announce to the rest of the league that the NFC East is his division. To start it off, he is going to mark his territory by pissing all over Kelly's next big thing. We will not lose a division game this year and next Monday Griffin sets the mark. The point differential is going to be at least 40 and possibly more than 50. Mark my words. A. New. Day.

I don't think the Eagles are great, hell they lost their secondary during the off season and are running a new offense. And we're good. Really good. But a 50 point difference? Is this gonna be like when the Pats ran up the score against us back in 2007? I hope you're right though. Man that would be an awesome way to kick off Monday night.

Not trolling DRave. An unshakable belief in three things (1) this team's deep talent and chemistry for which RGIII is the catalyst; (2) RGIII's Michael Jordanesque talent and insanely competitive drive - winning is not enough for this son of sargents conquering is the standard, anything less will not be tolerated; and finally (3) the fragile eggshell of a team that the Eagles are - when it starts to go south for them they simply have nowhere to dig down and find the strength to overcome. They are a team bereft of real character and leadership. They will pointing fingers and arguing on the sidelines by the end of the first half. Their implosion as a team will leave the talking heads speechless.
