RG3's superior intangibles, arm strength, accuracy, and athleticism made him a far better pro prospect than Foles and Cousins for sure. Tannehill wasn't that far behind, and Wilson would've been closer if he had another 3 inches(in height, dummy ), but RG3 and Luck were two of the best QB prospects to be drafted in a long time. |

Foles struggling will be a big storyline of the NFC East this year. And by struggling, I mean that he will look like an above average QB but won't have insane numbers like last year (that's not something that anyone in his right mind should expect to repeat). I think teams will adjust and bring a lot more pressure, as I think he will struggle with it (as many of the best QBs do) and he's not terribly mobile.
The NFC East team (outside of the Redskins) that I think will be interesting to watch is the Giants -- a LOT of personnel changes on both sides of the ball. Dallas doesn't look to be much different -- will have a bad secondary, not muchy of a running game, but will throw for a lot of yards, and the Eagles will be in the mix too. But I have no idea what to expect from the Giants.

This post ridiculous. He still had to make accurate throws, which he did. If Griffin has the kind of year Foles did throwing the ball from the pocket, are we going to say it's because of the weapons he has? No. Give the guy credit. He played great last year. He got Riley Cooper a big contract. And I don't see Jimmy Graham on the Eagles roster.

Since you dragged Griffin into this, if he has the kind of statistical year that Foles had, I'll give huge props to him. Putting up stats like that with the kind of O-line we'll likely have would require some phenomenal quarterbacking. BTW, while Celek is no Graham, he is a pretty darn good TE. Not Gronk or Graham, but not Logan Paulsen either. |
