Agreed. The situations where you can even start to consider rationalizing it are so extreme and rare that 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 99999% of the time it boils down to a guy being a scumbag. The Ray Rice fiasco doesn't even come close to having any sort of justification.

Tiger Woods basically got concussed by his wife, after a golf club through a window to the face caused him to crash his car, and still never laid a hand on her.

How else should people react to a video like that? Plenty of people had their concerns about Rice before seeing it, I don't think anyone agreed with the lame 2 game suspension.

I honestly feel that Rice's people hid things when it first happened; and the Ravens were too quick to sweep everything under the rug. I personally feel the video is just so sickening and shocking, that it led to the reaction.

I tell ya, they need to run the john harbaugh press conference the first time he addressed this issue. Harbaugh and the ravens organization can go to hell. Eff them all.

Talking heads were talking plenty on this story initially, but without definitive proof what can you do?

Yeah I get the feeling everyone involved wanted this whole story buried as quickly as possible. Until the video showed up they almost did it too. Disgusting.

Personally I think the ownership of the Ravens needs to address this and not the coach

You wonder if the video even surfaces if that casino didn't close earlier this month

We r a second chance nation, if he commits himself to change and stays in shape I wouldn't be surprised if he is given the opportunity to at least attempt a comeback.

Agreed. Steve Bisciotti should have been the one on the podium addressing the situation. And what I don't get is that, if Rice lied to them, they should have stated that in any communication with the press. Which makes it easy to assume that they were involved in the cover up.

I know people want to buried Goodell, and rightfully so, but to me this is more on the Ravens as an organization.

I agree. You can throw the state of NJ in there too. Piss poor on the prosecutors part but idk Joe could shed light on that
