Re: Around the NFL Week 17
Maybe I am in the minority but I'm not the biggest fan of Bryce Young. Great college player, checks most boxes but he is just way too small. I don't even think he's 200 lbs and doesn't crack 6'0. Idk. I wouldn't draft him in the first round. And I'm not touching Stroud that high either. I see both as 3rd rounders.

Re: Around the NFL Week 17
This off season there's going to be a lot of movement w/ the QB's. No way is Brady going to retire now that his wife is gone. He's going to try and play two more years I feel. Since the Raiders are moving Carr perhaps Brady ends up in Vegas w/ that clown McDaniels.
Where will Carr go? New England? If Brady leaves or retires that leaves a hole in TB. Does Goff stay in Detroit? Will Denver bring in someone to push Wilson? If I were them I would. |

Denver can’t afford that. TB12 is interesting to me. Would he come to Washington for one year with a new owner? I think he’s almost done but he’s still top 5 in passing lol. Goff won’t leave, they actually like him a lot from what I’ve read Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Around the NFL Week 17
Eye liner wearing Derek Carr would be realistically the best we could hope for imo. Hes a low end functional QB, which is a huge compliment. We havent had a functional NFL qb since Cousins. Tier above the wentz/darnold/mayfield/foles/brissett/trubisky/winston/marriotta dump. ----- If we dont get a tier 2 QB ... it doesnt matter if we sign a LT, hit on a mid round LB draft pick, we will be always somewhere below .500 Lots of things WENT RIGHT this year, on an easy schedule .. and we are below .500

Re: Around the NFL Week 17
I'd take Carr over what we have right now if they all had reasonable contracts. But they don't.
We need Howell to be a functional QB. That is what would be best. A cheap QB under contract for 3 more years would be sweet.

Re: Around the NFL Week 17
Carr struggled this year with Adams and Josh Jacobs both being top 10 in yards… I agree with SF on this one… no thanks.
We need to stop this Bs of signing other teams washed up QBs. It never ever works. If Rodgers stays in GB (word is he will) then we should offer a 5 for Love who has shown he can sling it and is young with potential. No more Carr, Wentz , Alex Smith, Mcnabb etc. Get a young guy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Around the NFL Week 17
Realistic v Dreams
2021 - Carr went for 4,804 yds, 68.4% completion %, 23 titties, 14 ints 2022 - Josh McDaniels became his head coach and play caller yall are tripping if think Carr = Wentz If we find this young top 15 Qb who has yet to have a name .. sign me up. Until then, we are fortunate the dysfunctional Raiders may be parting with their functional QB. Wed be lucky if Carr ended up here. Id love to go back to the Cousins era where we talked about going through 2nd and 3rd reads too quickly vs this pee wee 1-read QB play.

Re: Around the NFL Week 17
Carr is probably better than Wentz but he’s not that much better and we’d have to trade for him.. LV would probably want a 3rd which is fine if he comes in and leads us to a division title BUT is Carr better than Dak or Hurts? Probably not and we need a dude that can be better than those guys. Yeah it’s hard I get it but you keep trying.

The Eagles, Cowboys, or Giants should try him next.
