Kraft is a trash human being. Morals have nothing to do with success. Shitbag humans can still win.

Mayo is a Patriots legend. He gets one of, if not the worst, talented teams in the NFL, and gets fired. What a joke.

Terrible look by Kraft firing Mayo. What did he expect or was Mayo that much of an asshole. And Kraft put up with BB who was the biggest A-hole ever.

I don’t get it. Why didn’t he hire Vrbal last year if that’s the move

You gotta wonder if Pierce is gone with the Raiders. 4-13 is pretty bad and not a lot to be optimistic about with the franchise. Will be an interesting week for who stays and who gets fired.

Completely agree. The Pats don’t have a lot of talent so it isn’t a surprise that they did poorly this season. Kraft is a douche.

So glad we have new ownership. Ours was so bad it overshadowed the other schmucks out there.

Really hope Dallas keeps McCarthy, they're always such a sloppy bunch

His contract is up, so he'll have a say with all these HC openings, but I agree. Keep him!

Reading the New England media and message boards….most fans are over the moon he is gone. Like this firing was well deserved. Apparently the FO and coach turned on one another during the season and it was bad

His contract doesn’t expire until the 14th. So Jerry has a week to decide because once he’s a free agent; you know he’s interviewing for those other jobs.

This is a head scratcher for me. They have both failed miserably IMO.

Re: The annual NFL coaching carousel

My thoughts on Dallas is that Jerruh won’t hire a coach that would say no to him ala Bill Belicheck. It has to be some one like Mike that will go along with what Jerruh wants. As long as that’s the case they will not have a high ceiling. I also heard that from wade phillips, Jason Garrett and MM only one assistant has gone on to head coach and that is Dan Quinn. Not a great pedigree there

Better hope Kliff isn't poached for one of those HC openings.

I would strongly consider taking this if offered I'm MM. Just a fresh start and to get away from JJ. He also has experience in the division. Signing up with Dallas again, assuming the opportunity is provided, is simply rinse and repeat.
