I'll be with you in spirit, but my wife planned a getaway weekend at a spa for us. Don't bother teasing, I already feel like half a man. :p

Nice job SBF - Anyone got any suggestions for our sign? My wife agreed to make it but wants to know what it should say. I am not particularly creative so my only thought is "Warpathers Meet Here!".

BrudLee - "Don't bother teasing, I already feel like half a man."
But think how pretty your complexion will be when you get home. Bwhahahahahaha!! Sorry man..I had to "go there". JoeRedskin, that sounds good. I may print out the url a few dozen times in case we meet players or Gibbs so we can turn them on to this site. It would be awesome of some on the team joined and posted here. LifeTimeSkin - We'll be looking for ya guy! HAIL YEAH!

Be Like a Boy Scout and BE PREPARED.
Bring Cameras and stuff to get Autographed in case we get a chance to meet players and Coachs. I'm bringing my signed Sammy Baugh Football but only for Hall of Fame Redskins. I'll have other stuff maybe fpr 2004 Players and Coaches. Maybe stop by your local sports card store and see if the guy has the 2003 Complete Redskin set. Should be less then $5 - $10 bucks and could be handy for Players still on the team. OH, SHARPIES TOO!!!! Sorry to flood this thread but I'm excited about the whole thing and want us all to have a great time. HAIL YES! peace mike "the excitable boy" <><

I read somewhere (I think on the 'Skins website) that their have been 44,000 invitations requested so it looks like it's going to be crowded. I didn't go last year so I have no idea what it's will be like.
Mrs. JoeRedskin is kindly making a sign for us today. It will be on yellow posterboard (looks like its about 2' x 3') and will simply say "WARPATH", I think she may be putting the Warpath spear on it and something like "Go 'Skins". I will be leaving Baltimore about 9:45 which should get me there by 11:00 with some time to spare. AS REMINDER: BE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR INVITATION WITH YOU - GET IT AT THE WEBSITE!! YOU CANNOT GET IN WITHOUT ONE. Okay, one final question - Can I bring my own food? I want to bring a gym bag to put stuff in but I am not sure if they are enforcing game day policies for this event. Anybody got any ideas on that one? By the way, it appears SammyB has lost interest. He hasn't posted on this thread in almost 2 whole days. Hmmmm, wonder if he is still coming?? |

According to the team website, fans will be allowed on the field for the party.
Try not to mess things up too much, guys.

Maybe I'll take a small piece of my RFK Red Endzone Turf and plant it. I got it the last game at RFK when we beat DallASS the last time. Maybe the grass will bring us some luck.
My son is excited about getting on the field too. peace

This may have already been posted but the man himself Joe Gibbs, along with Bugel and Williams, should arrive at FedEx around 2:30

Thanks, JoeRedskin, for taking care of the Warpath sign. That will really help out a lot! Tell your wife we all really appreciate her taking the time to do that.
SBF, I can't wait to meet you, my man, you've got some kind of spirit! Thanks for the ideas as far as bringing stuff to get signed-- I always seem to forget my Sharpie! I think your idea of planting some original RFK turf at FedEx is superb-- especially considering it's turf on which the Cowboys were beaten! Thanks for taking care of Summo, too! Looking forward to meeting everyone there! Hopefully, we'll make a lot of new Warpathers on our visit. |

I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to try to be one of the first ones there. I probably will be there around 8:30 - 9. I'll be wearing my Lavar Arrington jersey. I'll look for the Warpath sign..........that's if I can still see straight after all the miller lights I consume!

My wife just finished the sign - Very Nice. Gonna keep it so we can use it for training camp day. I think I owe her t-shirt or something.
