I'm going to miss that. Wonder where he'll end up next year.

- Getting a healthy Landry back

Amid these positive things, there are some big question marks
- QB
- Interior offensive line
- Defensive line
- Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper
- Free Safety

Finally, I would really like to see an end to unnecessary drama (Shanny vs. AH; Shanny vs. McNabb).
Nice to see some of the yonger guys playing. But to be honest, when you stack them up against the talent in our division they simply don't match up. Love the return game w/ Banks, he's a keeper for teams. Torain is good. Armstrong is a nice 3rd wr but he isn't as good as Philly's wr's, or anyone on Dallas or the Giants wr's. This team is full of complementary type players.

I have to agree here. I really didn't see us out coach anyone.

I actually like Armstrong better than Maclin considering that Armstrong doesn't have a DeSean Jackson drawing coverage away from him.

True, but who out-couched US?

Good point. But I would like to see some of these players against those tough opponents with now a year under their belt and with more opportunities. I do think there will be a better FA pool to improve in some areas, and hopefully we can get some talent in the draft as well.

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

The sad thing is, I can point to one or two key plays EACH game that resulted in a win or a loss. We didn't blow anyone out (been a while since we've done that) and we didn't get dominated with the exception of the Giants and Eagles games this year.

If you recall MS asked Hanyesworthless if you take the check then you are on board with the 3-4 defense, well he took the check. He was a no show for OTA"S and we changed to a 3-4 defense why not show up to get a jump on learning it. I guess he did not really want to play in the 3-4 he just wanted the check.

I like our young WR corps- Austin, Armstrong and Banks. I think Armstrong and Austin will get better next year. At the moment, I compare Armstrong to a poor man's Gary Clark with lots of future potential. Austin could be our Ricky Sanders, we just need a Monk.

Agreed, but as you said before...AH had a history of this behavior.

To all the real Redskins fans peace and God Bless in 2011 I will be watching the few bowl games that remain and keep a eye on the mock drafts. Im out time to do something more productive then sit here and go back and forth with some unhappy fans.HTTR

I didnt say he had a history of this behavior. I said he complained about the 4-3 defense last season and was lying on the ground hurt during games.

Re: Giants v. Redskins Gameday Thread

Moss, Armstrong, Austin, Kelly, Banks, Cooley, Davis is a solid group of pass catchers. We have much bigger needs than those positions. Think we all agree that we need to improve the interior of our o-line and hope that Brown can get healty during the offseason to play RT. On defense we need an outside linebacker opposite of Orakpo, a FS or CB depending on where Barnes starts next season and depth for the D-line. (he should). Bryant and Carriker should stay.

Well he had a history of not being a model player and not trying. It would have been better to just get rid of him. But that's a moot point since he won't be here next year.
