He's definitely over his head. Good guy. Probably a reason he's been a QB coach for so long.

This is what happens when you hire a 55 yeard old QBs coach to run the entire show.

Oh, well. Gotta turn it around. No need to burn down the house, IMO--lets beat the Rams and get things on track.
Peace out.

Don't worry Zorn. There will always be a warm QB coach position waiting for you. Please. Please.. Put down the the headset and the clipboard... Or at least give up the clipboard. You can't call plays to save your life.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
Initial thoughts:
1. I've said it a thousand times. Save your trick play for the third quarter. The Giants defensive staff probably showed them that play (from last years Eagles game) a million times. 2. Deangelo Hall is a defensive Brandon Lloyd. If there were a tree on the field, he would jump up in it to avoid physical contact. 3. What you gain in pass pro by exchanging Janson/Kendall for Heyer/Dockery, you lose in the running game. 4. The Giants hold all the time and never get called for it. 5. Chris Wilson is suppossed to catch an onside kick? 6. Smoot has a huge bullseye on his back. 7. Carlos Rogers dropped two that I saw. 8. Zorn with his play calling and Jason with his play both seem scared to death. 9. Sellers non-existent. Davis non-existent. Thomas (same reverse as last year's game, again film), Kelly one catch. 10. It's the same old shit.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
way to go skins! pay more for 3 players, than the giants pay for both of thier deep lines. didnt figure this would come back to bite you in the ass.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
Just wait, there will be more excuses than answers from zorn and blach and the whole damm team will have excuses. But to me the only way this team can prosper is for synder to sale the team and who ever buys the team run it the way it should be run. With that said it is going to take a long time to rebuild this team.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
We didn't stick around? We made a slight comeback with less than 2 minutes left? That was like a desperation TD. The NFC East is always tough conference. The only way you set the marker as a good team is when you're able to beat other elite teams (or at least give them a run for their money). At no point in time were the Giants worried --Oh they might come back-- The fact that we STILL can't keep up with these good teams is a glaring fact that we are still doing something terribly wrong.
