Hey at least we drafted a TE!!

The fact that we haven't drafted a single offensive lineman is pretty baffling.

probably not, but it does say, "hey, if you don't want to play for us, well we will try this guy."

Remember, Sellers cost Zorn alot of mocking when he missed that one catch. Now I doubt that in and of itself was a make or break thing, but I doubt Zorn feels as enamored with him as some of us fans.

And when he cost us a game by fumbling on the one.

Agreed, there is NO way in hell, Sellers might throw him on the grill and eat him as an appetizer before he moves on to Cody.

He'll probably be groomed to eventually replace Sellers. Eddie Williams, TE, Idaho

Maybe, but if this guy takes Sellers' focus from his contract and returns it to football, that may not be a bad thing.

What if we pick a QB here? would JC still demand a trade?

I would have preferred an OL, instead trying to send a mesage with a FB that will not start.

I guess it's a sign they are comfortable with the current group.

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion

Or maybe a reflection of the fact that this is one of the weakest OL drafts in some time.

The merciful news is that it is coming to an end.
