Re: 2011 NFL Draft
I wouldn't have a problem with AJ Green or Julio Jones to be honest.

I was beginning to wonder if despite his skill set and production wether he was considered a draftable QB. The height bias often prevents many good 6'0 QB prospects from even getting a first look as a draft pick. e.g Chase Daniels (I still can't believe we kept Brennan over Daniels) |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
It appears that the Skins are only working out local schools/talent targeted for later round draft ochs and/or UDRFAs.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
I think I said it correctly, other than misspelling "picks" for "ochs" (Swype). I don't recall the team attending a pro-day of a top 10 prospect as of yet (Julio Jones is rehabbing). Instead, they have sent scouts and coaches to local schools who really have limited value as 1st and 2nd round selections. Is Hampton University having a pro-day? You can expect them to "show" interest in DL Kenrick Ellis. The FO will not make it obvious who they're targeting in the first round by attending a pro-day of a top prospect. Where else have they been?

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
What happened to Moore? Remember at the start of college season, experts said he was the best QB in the country.

They might say that again since he stayed in school.

Before you said this: Quote:
As far as I know Newton and Miller are neither local prospects nor projected as late round picks or UDFAs. Tyrod would be the only prospect they're bringing in for a visit thus far that fits your description of bringing in local/late so unless your using some form of minority rule your view is wrong. Team's that have QB 'gurus' like to look at QBs; last year they brought in all of the top prospects IIRC. The Skins are bringing in Tyrod for look see, their reasons are their reasons but they're not only bringing in late/local prospects. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft
LOL I don't remember but earlier in the season when BSU was rolling, Moore was a top Heisman candidate and some actually said he could have been the best qb before the season started of course.
